accusing you of violating guidelines, demand proof.
Without proof it's defamation and they can be sued for that. Depending on
where you are, the terms and conditions might not matter. Especially if you
are outside of US.

If someone accuses you of any violation that could be criminal, then they are accusing you of a crime. If they do it without proof, then they can be sued for defamation, Grindr has to let you know who that person is or it can be a party in that lawsuit. The laws of Canada will be used regardless of what the user agreement says based on recent Supreme Court rulings.
