What's with the monetization of super fat and super skinny people?
a friend and I who are both on grindr were talking about our experiences on the app and they were talking about how they don't get a lot of attention because they're fat, and I at first boiled it down to fatphobia/body shaming, and out of curiosity I used the weight filter and put in 300+ lbs minimum to see if my friend would come up, and the results automatically switched to XTRA/Unlimited and I couldn't see my friend's account unless I paid a monthly premium. I want to mass select and delete over 100 photos.
As not just a client but also an investor, (I never knew how much I wanted to say someting like that until this moment) I currently have just shy of 300 black photo boxes in my photo gallery to choose to send to ppl that are blank and posses a ? In them. At this time I have to rest my finger on one photo at a time. $1 for 3 hidden pictures
Please, trying to get someone to pay $29/momth (or something) for XTRA, make it available to purchase individual features that they want. In MY case, I prefer non-screenshottable photos and multiple albums over the advanced filters. I promise, I’d much, MUCH rather pay 2.99/momth for hidden pictures over that horrible $39/month xtra subscription. Im a senior vp of marketing on a daily basis (fortune 5 company). Making that subscription number look smaller (and not by the week, (golds gym suffered from this), offer maybe $10/month for hidden pics and (unlimited hidden pics and erasable addresses) this is SIMPLE privacy.

Stop degrading the service for free (and XTRA) users
I appreciate that you need to make money to fund the app, but you also state that "ads keep the app free" whilst degrading the service constantly for free users. This is a big problem for paying subscribers, as new, free users stop using the app and the paying users just see the same faces over and over again.

If you pay for a premium account you should have the ability to turn off read receipts on messages
So basically like for iPhone should be able to turn your read receipts on/off so that when a user messages you if it read the message it will still show as delivered on the senders end. Or something like skype, where if I turn ny read receipts off then I can’t see if other people view my message to them until I turn them back on.

Allow to find tribes, ethnicity etc through a custom field search.. let people find what and who they are looking for.

Paid unblocking
Anyway if I am paying , paid profiles should get feature to see profiles who blocked them and can see on the grid , clicking on it would be not possible but a plead can be send to unblocking the blocked paid person . That can reduce stress and also can be used as a outstanding feature of paid profiles.
