2. Unlimited is not unlimited

   I mean the idea of unlimited is messaging as you wish. But twice i got banned because i messaged quite a few hoping to find that extra friend. i mean if unlimited has numbers then tell us why ban unilaterally ? And i cannot even message those who who replied to me. Ban following unlimited subscription is puzzling abd goes against the very word unlimited

4. Put a tiny icon or colored dot on the people that have sent their pictures to you without having to go in and figure it out. Simplifies

   So essentially what you would do is put like a tiny icon or like a tiny little color dot on the profile so that way you know if that person's has sent pictures before its one less annoying question someone has to ask you or vice versa. Also the shared album shares stop sharing so often. It's been something that wish that I would love to be subtle but quick to find.thank you!

    Hola espero y lean mi post.

    Llevo más de 6 años usando la app, lo cual e visto la evolución de la misma. Sin embargo este último año a la fecha, siento que grindr perdió fama por 2 cosas que es la sugerencia que vengo a escribir.
    1- Anteriormente un usuario normal y corriente (sin membresía) podía ver quien lo vio sin ninguna restricción. Actualmente tienes que ser miembro unlimited para poder accesar a esa herramienta, por lo menos aquí en México, la membresía Unlimited (Mensual) es por $992 pesos mexicanos, Creo que excede mucho la capacidad económica en México, para lo poco que ofrece realmente.
    2- Creo que deberían de considerar bajar un tanto el costo de las membresía o al menos hacer una investigación de Mercado y moderar el tema de adquisición, adicional (Yo soy usuario XTRA) pero la suscripción en iOS es mucho más cara que la de Android, yo recomendaría si hacer un estudio de mercado mas a fondo, ya que por lo que veo la mayoría de los usuarios estamos inconformes con este asunto.

12. Greedy Grindr

    Grindr keeps implementing unwanted functionality and limiting normal functionality, while stuffing the app with ads. You can really see the company is owned by investment agencies who want nothing else but to see as much return on investment, as soon as possible.

    The amount of people one can see is becoming less and less and the filters that can be used keep getting limited. Meanwhile, Grindr is implementing features that literally nobody asked for, such as albums, stupid GIFs and dumb gaymoji I’ve never seen anyone use if not accidentally.

    The prices you are asking for your premium subscriptions, Xtra and Unlimited, are completely excessive (€20 or €40 a month, literally where do you get the nerve). It makes it a product for only the rich, while making it inaccessible for the less wealthy LGBTs among us. Meanwhile, your largest competitor in Europe, ROMEO, is able to make profits with a premium subscription of only €7,50 a month, while offering its free users more features, ad-free, than you do to your Unlimited subscribers, and still donate parts of their profits to a non-profit LGBT-rights supporting foundation.

    Here’s an idea: give free users access to basic filters such as length and relationship status and give them the possibility to see reasonable amounts of people rather than limiting their view distance more and more. Other features, such as albums, gaymoji, GIFs and reading receipts you can make Xtra or Unlimited only.

    Change your policies now, because as long as Grindr keeps being a greedy company that only exists to milk the LGBT community off their money, I will never, I repeat NEVER pay for Grindr, and I will make sure it won’t make profits out of me by using a firewall ad blocker on my phone such as AdGuard, 1Blocker or Lockdown Firewall.     Give you the option to make a single profile Incognito all the time or Online all the time regardless of what you choose for everyone else. So you could choose to have a friend see you or not see you regardless of what you choose for everyone else.

    There should be in the profile a tiny chronometer or a sentence in which you can display to others for how long will you be available to meet up. So you can dedicate it a filter with last 30min last hour and so on. Like a discount sex, if you have only 20 min is easier to meet with a less attractive person.

20. Grindr Xtra Subscribers should get more features considering how expensive it is.

    Xtra has become a HUGE ripoff. The differences between an Xtra subscriber and a free basic member are so minor now. What are they doing with all the money they are getting from this ridiculously over priced app. Even the customer service has gotten worse. Try putting the money you get for the app back into it and show appreciation to your subscribers instead of gouging them. Unlimited is outrageously over priced! Why not give loyal Xtra members x amount of unlimited days per year free or even reduce the cost of Xtra a little bit for every year a person pays for it. Some sort of loyalty bonus would go along way in my opinion.
