If they have a fully filled out 100% profile they should get a free view of most recent taps and views or an additional right now. Ad revenue is a a big part of Grindr, giving a larger grid gives more ad real estate and high quality profiles with pics and bios drive more over all users into the platform. Clicking on free views and taps also open the door to more tape through ads.
