Hi Grindr Team,

I’d like to suggest adding a keyword search feature within chat messages.

Currently, finding something mentioned in a previous conversation can be frustrating, especially when you have a long chat history and need to scroll through hundreds of messages just to find something specific.

It would be incredibly useful to have a search function that allows users to:

• Search for specific words or phrases within individual conversations.
• Search across all conversations to find messages containing particular keywords.
• Jump directly to matching messages rather than manually scrolling through chat histories.
• Filter search results by conversation or date, if possible.

This would make it much easier to find previous discussions, important information, or conversations with people whose usernames may have changed.

Considering how frequently users communicate through Grindr, I believe this would be a genuinely useful quality-of-life improvement that many users would appreciate.

I hope you’ll consider including this feature in a future update.

Thanks for your time!
