I noticed that the most recent update has removed hiv positive (undetectable) from the apps filters and that really disappoints me, as someone who was recently diagnosed I've struggled with finding anyone with the same diagnosis as I do not feel comfortable sharing my status or experience with someone who isn't also positive for HIV, most apps already demonize HIV+ people or extort them with high fees just to have a small chance of speaking to one another. The option to search for guys near me and my age facing the same problem that I could potentially connect with gave me a lot of hope. I'm aware that the "poz" tribe and tag filter is still available but the option is entirely unused by most HIV+ people due to it being incredibly uncomfortable, fetishizing, and outdated, so most now being forced to use it to find one another because of this update feels incredibly wrong and dehumanizing. It would be great to see this feature brought back to the filters, I'm unaware if the issue with the filter was safety, discrimination, or harassment but I feel like it did a greater positive then negative while it was here.
