Hi Grindr team,

I wanted to share an idea that I think could genuinely improve the experience on the app: a simple way to signal disinterest instead of just going silent.

Ghosting is really common here, and it leaves the other person in limbo, not knowing if a reply is coming or not. I'd suggest adding a "Not Interested" button in the chat. Tapping it would send a brief, polite automated message to the other person (something like "This person is no longer interested") and then close or archive the chat for both sides.

This wouldn't force anyone to have an awkward conversation, but it would give people clarity instead of leaving them hanging indefinitely. I think a lot of users would appreciate having a built-in, low-effort way to end a conversation respectfully.
