GRINDR URGENTLY needs to put a way of confirming peoples identity to keep our community safe
The amount of people using the app to impersonate, hurt, assault and thieve from users in unacceptable. GRINDR needs to keep its users safe I have seen the same profile online after knowing 10 people have reported him for assault in Athens Greece and theft and they do nothing about it. there's been murders, druggings, muggings all from using the app in Australia a group of extremist people almost murdered and assaulted an 18 year old guy thinking he was meeting another 18 year old for a hook up. The only way to combat this is to verify accounts by using a government form of ID and keeping that verification secure! GET WITH THE PROGRAM GRINDR its an UNSAFE app!

and you watch, GRINDR will do nothing about this, nothing. they don't care about users safety they only care about money... otherwise this would be imperative and be absolutely the priority for this week! Verifying by government issued ID doesn't change the app at all... it just keeps people safe and even people in the closet or whatever can continue to be!
