So each time I get a message or notification and as I go to open the message to see the pics sent or reply, opening the app triggers advertising that renders the app useless until I go and close out the app and restart.

When these ads pop up I find it's always at the halfway mark of my typing a reply that now there's an advertisement taking the whole screen and I can't find it's 'x'. I don't know about anyone else, but I have a pixel 8 pro and I can never get the tiny stupid x crammed in the utmost unreachable corner of my screen. So there I go as fast as I can to exit the app to home screen, open all the apps running, and slide it off the screen like a pain in the ass. Then my message I was replying with and whatever I wanted to say is gone, not in the text field anymore and after selecting the message thread it almost always prompts a new advertisement to pop up. F$+&!!!

That said I already am on free version(embarrassing, I know), and I can't ever reply to the new pics some stud a few hundred feet away has sent and his profile is traveling so it's priority right? I just give up and shut the app. Why?
