Hello travelers! I’m considering renting a car in Protaras to explore nearby areas like Ayia Napa and Cape Greco. Is the traffic manageable, and is parking usually available near the main tourist spots?

Yes, Protaras is a great place to drive around. I used car hire protaras https://secrental.com/cyprus/protaras/cars last July and had no trouble with traffic, even in high season. Most roads are well-marked, and parking near the beaches was usually available—just try to arrive early in the day. Having a car let me explore Ayia Napa, Konnos Bay, and the Sea Caves at my own pace. Much more relaxing than relying on group tours or buses. Definitely worth it if you enjoy flexible travel.
