There's been a new wave of anonymous profiles that target the local community.
It seems to be that Grindr became popular online in memes and content accessible to everyone. Underage teenager gangs and local dangerous individuals in my town seem to be creating profiles and targeting us easier.

I understand some people don't want to have the profile pic exposed,but face verifications should be implemented in creating profiles.
That way those with I'll intent will be kept off the app.
