In the same way that on Facebook you can select another person’s profile (with their approval) as the person you are “in a relationship with”—Grindr should allow a similar functionality for couples that each have their own Grindr profile.

When a user has selected their relationship status as something other than “Single” (e.g married, open relationship, etc), it should then give the option to select a profile from your favorites to designate as your “partner”. It would then send the other account a request to accept or deny. If accepted, then each person’s profile would display the other’s account as their “partner(s)”
