New Viewed Me feature allows people to see how many times a person has viewed their profile. Kill it.
The new Viewed Me feature that allows people to see how many times a person has viewed their profile is a bit overreaching and asking for trouble.
1) Sometimes we like to privately admire someone's profile. Tallying the number of times a person looks is WILD.
2) Viewing someone's profile is simply the act of swiping passed their profile on the grid. It's already crazy that swiping through constitutes viewing, but to now be showing the number of times someone has swiped past a profile is crazy.
3) This does effect the privacy of users. No one needs to know every move you make on the app. The feature is intrusive.
4) This feature could be responsible for unnecessary harassment and bullying if someone believes you are "stalking" their profile and lashes out. It's not outside of the realm of possibility as it has happened without this new feature in place.
This feature is a step too far and shouldn't make it out of the testing phase. I urge you to reconsider this as a potential privacy and safety issue.
