I have paid for memberships a few different times and every time I pay I get screwed and not in the way I want. GPS is always off and the damn app want me to 7.99 to drop my pin in my home town. I have emailed 25 times and not gotten a response yet fro. These assholes that take money but give a sub par product to consumers

Once again an update has taken away a feature from Xtra. Cannot unblock individual users or see who you blocked, as well as from the message feature you cannot view the profile without opening the message first.

Agree with everybody. I mean the grind extra is absolutely useless. I got tricked into 3 months at a discount. As I swear when I clicked on the ad and payed for it the discount was for unlimited as I would never pay for xtra. I can’t even afford the payment for unlimited. Which if you ever figure out how to make this app functional you should be giving everybody complimentary unlimited access for at least 3 months. I’ve used Grindr my gawd since it started and you’ve really had no competition in this industry so I guess that’s why the app sucks you know there is no other competitors. I hope that changes very soon. Scruff is t a a direct competitor as that is def for a niche market Most of which is not on Grindr.

All my messages recently went missing it always shows me as online when I am most certainly not online I log out of the app even and restart my phone just to make sure. That has been an issue since the dawn of Grindr. That’s how I know you guys don’t care or are not capable of putting the money into the app. How long has the app existed? Nobody is perfect I get that. But you can at least own up to your faults. That would at least show some integrity and show your a bit trustworthy-ish.

If I were you I’d start putting a lot of money into the app so it can handle the influx of users and be able to function on at least a bare minimum level. Cuz I feel like we are wasting our time even commenting here. Cuz nothing has changed in over 14 years. Let that sink in for a moment, Now sign the app over to some responsible adults that aren’t blowing the cash on hookers and blow. Maybe somebody that actually wants to take pride in the app and develop it to its full potential. If this app functioned even half as good as it should, you’d probably see your memberships sky rocket.

Get rid of Grindr Extra it’s a waste of money and essentially it scams people out of their money I can’t prove that the ad I clicked o. Said “Unlimited”. But I know it did then I ended up with 3 months of Xtra which even at that discounted rate I never would’ve paid. I was denied a refund as well. I would swear on my grandparents grave that it was for 3 months of “Unlimited “ that’s how confident I am that I was screwed out of that money. I can’t afford to support your drug habit.

What’s the point of “about me” if or when all anyone can see of it the first line in a profile. This contains info that really would determine if there are some interests but it is impossible for anyone to see. This app is full of bugs. There is no way I’m going to pay $130. Year for something that barely works at all anymore. Notification come in day later. And repeat over and over. Things don’t refresh. Come on. What is going on. Your stock price certainly reflects the lack of a quality product as it keeps going down down.

The amount of money they charge for the premium tiers/features and how casually and lightly they carry on, while at the same time seemingly putting in exactly ZERO effort in fixing the glitches and the bugs (and just how consistently reliable they are in cluelessly allowing for a new round, new generation of glitches to develop in their place by the time they finally come up with a fix to the previous ones!!), side by side, is just... mind blowing... The notion of at least in theory designing and delivering a quality product or service cannot possibly have ever been even brought up, like, ever. They. Just. don't. give. a. rat"s. behind. There is no other way to explain just how prevalent all these issues have been and how long they've been happening. It's part of their signature style, apparently!! Messages don't get sent through, don't arrive through, notifications show the same message as READ one time, and only DELIVERED five other times... Entire whole chat histories appear and disappear sometimes literally between closing the app and reopening it right after, let alone when there's an "update"... Members show as online 20,40 min after they've split, lol, but not while they're online 🤦🏻‍♂️. I have several pics open by default as the main, first part of the profile, and yet every now and then for a good chunk of time several members in the chat ask me if I have any pics, which is when I realize my photos are not showing, and that's also why I wrongly throught the other members "don't have any pics" posted!! 😂 😂 I mean... I literally don't think I know of ANY app or social media platform / service / etc that is anywhere *close* to the level of dysfunction and the technical disaster that this app continues to reveal itself to be with EVERY iteration and update... Besides irritation and frustration as a customer, I'm also just stunned... ': if ANYTHING, I would be mortified to know that the end result of my job is something sooooo incredibly below any and all standards... Forget about a good, a great, even a WORKING product, lol! But at the very least I'd be making WHATEVER effort to make sure that the product, the service that comes out of my hands meets a MINIMUM, however meager and lacking, but at LEAST a minimum above the "and here is the pile of garbage!" category! It's trash! Whatever the fuck they did to it, they made it worse! Was it the migration of storage of data from personal device to server? It constantly disconnects all the time. Sometimes if you send a voice clip, it fails to send and then WON'T RESEND! You have to remember what you said and say it again. Trash. Do better, engineering/programming team!

Its utter trash. I went through a bunch of phones, till it actually let me create another account that worked. Wouldnt load the old one. It was fine a few weeks, then come the updates and everyday something else stops working. It happens EVERYTIME, I install this app. Works good, then it runs slow, then it wont refresh, then it starts not sending messages every 5 minutes and makes you reload. Today it decided to only display 6 profiles and everything else is premium. It went to 9 for about 5 minutes before going back to 6. Explain how it can work when you install it then it updates itself to be busting and not work. Done, the fact that they want you to pay for a busted service and think giving you and embarassing busted free tier to sell that. Just shut this app down. All they want to do is exploit the gay community. Geez, I report the SAME billion fake profiles made up of stolen Only Fans transgirls and they do NOTHING. But, they will hand you a ban if you tell some creep sending you unwanted nudes you made clear not to in your profile, a Fing scuzbag. They dont protect from the predators, they dont do anything about the fakes, but they wont let you use their own list of words they dont want. But, hey.
