100% agree with this! Grindr should have a version of the app specifically for trans people. Most of the trans profiles on Grindr are obviously fake (made by AI). Grindr refuses to prevent even fake trans profiles from being posted because they don’t want to ‘offend”. So ridiculous! Grindr is a lost cause. My advice is to cancel your Grindr subscription and find a better app!

I think this should be females on this app cuz they're actually a lot of DL guys which have now opened up today female and a female is okay with watching two guys have sex I think that just needs to be an option for that and it has an option for people that like trans and cross-dressers and give these soccer gay guys the man on man what they want as an option make all of these options if they don't want those options fine other than that I don't see what's the problem

EXACTLY! this app was designed by men for men to meet each other. Why because of inclusion do I have to see all of these women? They should make their own female / trans dating app. This stance is not trans or homophobic, it’s just common sense.

With the number of glitches, bugs. Illegal activities and REAL detrimental problems on Grindr THIS is a priority? Its ludicrous to assert that there are enough trans or biological women on Grindr to insight so much vitriol. If anything their presence is more detectable because unlike many gays they actually post pictures of themselves. Not cropped body parts or hide behind memes or blank profiles. Blocking is a better solution than bitching about something you KNOW they wont change. I find it rather simple to do as i scroll actual bios rather than jumping to check any profile with a picture... Besides im quite sure there ar far less trans and biological women here than the effeminate men, cross dressers and drag queens that BELONG to your gay M4M Community...because BELIEVE ME majority of u aren't as masc as u THINK u are. Truthfully if it weren't for those masculine DL Bi and transattracted men specifically seeking trans, females and FTM, the women wouldnt be here... I am a transperson.and when im not busy responding to a large number of dms, or enjoying my conquests, im casually blocking everything I find as unappealing as yall find us. Lol!!! I've read thru the comments, and while some are rather pointed I don't find them offensive. I'm actually AMUSED that some of y'all are this obtuse lacking in awareness & perspective. Ya'll dont see the irony that ur bothered and mad at seeing "women" but had any men found u acceptable you'd be too busy notice/endlessly scroll thru "womens" profiles spinning a fictional narrative of transpeople taking over everything rather than accepting the fact that members of ur own all boy ilk, just may not be that into u! Blaming others is easier than coming to terms with harsh self realizations. Though Grindr may have begun catering to who one guy, bless his heart, refers to as "squatters." It remains a primarily M4M site by a landslide. Giving u greater odds than the "squatters" of making a connection. Basic common sense & basic math dictates that even if Grindr used the basic suggestion of removing "others" it wouldn't help your plight. Here's where that lack of awareness and perspective comes in. "Others" are the lowhanging fruit being scapegoated by this topic because the gays refuse to take accountability for shallow practices that have plagued the M4M community long b4 the internet was created.
Grindr could DEFINITELY do more by way of filters especially considering the amount they charge for premium services with lackluster benefits, But as time has proven without fail; as evidenced on other websites, apps, the bar scene etc, there will be a large portion of lonely disgruntled gays still making excuses for hookup failure. The reality is in EXCLUSIVELY M4M spaces, gays have ALWAYS WITHOUT FAIL used vanity and shallowness to create division & discord amongst themselves & nonchalantly claim "preference" to thinly veil their mean spirited prejudices under a guise of P.C. How quickly they forget their taglines of "no fats, no fems, no *insert race*" The bottom shaming, racism, agism, obsessions with cock size, masculinity & "straight men"...Just remove the "women" because the number of men on this site catfishing, prostituting, selling drugs, bored/playing games or dl potentially capable of harming someone isn't a real problem here. The women prevent you from getting the man of ur dreams not the fact that you may be too old, unattractive, overweight, can't host, not mobile, too far away, not interesting, have weird kinks/fetishes, shitty attitude, poor reputation throughout the community, seeking someone not in ur league, etc
Nevermind the number of M4M hiding behind memes or no thumbnail Pic, blank/uninteresting profile bios...or worse; a completely blank profile altogether. Don't 4get those of you with no personality and/or attention span either boring people to death in the dms or stalkers begging for nudes ..the thirsty ones so excited by a Pic or out of laziness disregard even the most well written bios.
A keen observer may strongly suspect this frustration with women on GRINDR is bcuz this is your last option 2 find a hookup because u can't in the real world. I mean there are more "others" in real life than on Grindr (gay men are the overwhelming majority) Lol The truth in all likelihood is you cant compete with other gay men in person. The attractive and interesting ones are too busy online & in real life to be concerned or affected by "women" who aren't their competitors...if the men are ACTUALLY seeking other men.All this misdirected anger and frustration. LMAO! Its unlikely Grindr rescind inclusivity & its telling of the individuals thinking it should. The sensible solution is a filter or category selection at signup. Grindr's obviously a business...implementing inclusivity, increases potential profit. PARTICULARLY if strict descriptive "preference" filters and tags replace the MANY existing lame/irrelevant ones on premium.

There is not a single day without I needing to block female profiles in order not to be seen by them (because I want to be seen only by men) and to release the grid. And despite that I keep being seen by some female profiles (as if I didn't use Grindr ONLY to date men). If Grindr was only for women and some men begun to use the app, it probably would be clearer what feels like one gender invading the space of the opposite gender in the case of same sex relationship app.

Expressing sexual DISINTEREST is NOT discrimination. Inclusion and acceptance are SOCIAL issues that have no place in a conversation regarding sexual inclinations.
I have no interest in using an app for every orientation, as I only want to connect with other gay men. I don't want to filter and ignore 30 women, just to get to see a single gay member. Female profiles on a gay app is like adding bacon to a vegan meal: it might add some flavor, but it still ruins the purpose of being vegan.

To reiterate. I don't really care if someone is trans or not. A gay men's hookup app should be for gay men. Straight people should have their own. And same for lesbian, trans, furries, fetish specific groups, swingers.
There will never be a perfectly described "let everyone have their own" that is works. It's going to get thought of like it's a separate but equal thing. And that's not the lense I am talking through. Understand what I'm trying to say and stop getting stuck on a word choice you don't agree with. Making everythingn be an insult really just makes nothing an insult and brings about a lack of others caring.
It's about going to the pet department to buy cat food. You go up to the shelf and see the tag on the shelf describing the item. Look at the item and it's rabbit food. You went to the cat food place for cat food, not rabbit food. There's a spot that people wanting rabbit food can go to get rabbit food. Most people coming to this spot for cat food don't have a use for rabbit food and are not happy about having to dig through stuff that's not cat food in order to find what options of cat food are available.
The apps are like departments at a store. You go to the section of the things you want. And sometimes something is in a place that you didn't expect. And that's cool, sometimes things can work surprisingly well when found in with something new. And you can go to that section later on.
But that's the here or there setting. If EVERYTHING in the entire store was just randomly placed anywhere. Sometimes with something similar, usually not, shuffled and random without a plan or reason -ifs frustrating and you won't want to waste your time digging through the stuff you don't want. It's not discrimination to not be attracted to someone. I don't care if it's that you don't go for white guys, or black girls don't catch your interest, or you just don't see yourself with a person who is taller than you. Focusing on the type of person that has the look that makes your dick wiggle most often is not discriminating. Stop acting like being attracted to furry chested white men with beards automatically means that you're racist because you prefer to focus your attention on furry white guys that have facial hair and don't talk much to anyone not fitting that description.

I don't agree at all. I want to remind everyone (gay man) how our community used to discriminate the trans community back in the 70s.
Maybe, we should recognise that times are changing and the division of men who likes men is not enough anymore. There are also gay men who likes trans women. Do we want to continue think that we have a sort of primacy in the queer community or, instead, we are a small part of a huge group?
Maybe Grindr, like other queer apps, are starting recognising the importance of enlarging the audience, to create less division.
Grindr is still primary a gay app with men, so don't complain.
Particularly, in those times, we should be the first to support the trans community, to give them a space.Let's see top with the hate!

Confirms my feeling about Marina. A self centered, hate monger. You’re right, she does drive by bashing with no offers of resolution.I reiterate, trans and “females, straights and their followers are simple squatters. They have invaded all the M4M apps and claim them for their own. They refuse to leave. They already have their own apps but seem jealous of our successes with our apps.
If only our app platform owner/operators would stand ground. Inclusion unmonitored is doomed to fail and kill the apps. Must include hard filters above any paywalls and not behind them.
Grindr is doomed to these squatters to fail otherwise.

Dear Marina. ( Or anyone thinking the same )
When you go to a foreign country, you are expecting to respect the usages and rules of the population you are visiting.
If you don't like it, you have either the choice of dealing with it and accept it even if you think otherwise, or just don't go at all if you don't agree with the rules there.
What you are trying to do is imposing your own vision to the said country but you are just a visitor.
Grindr is a men dating app.
You are welcome because you are part of the LGBT community, but you are also expected to follow and RESPECT the usage of this app and his history.
Calling this point of view racist/segregationist/transphobic is just stupid and self centered.
There is a problem, and all those post about it are not here just to do some trans bashing.
We want to make things better for everyone.
You are literally shitting (in every post you are making) on people who are trying to make this work and evolve TOGETHER.
You are always calling people racist, transphobic or whatever, and never ever make a proposal to resolve this situation.
If you are not happy with trans app you should use your energy to make them get better. Not try to change what this app was made for. MEN DATING. not lesbian. Not non binary or trans.
If this app was made from scratch for trans and gay men, that would make sense, and tbh we would already have solutions to separate/choose the content and users we would like to see.
Anyway. There is a simple solution to this. Hard filters and an option for the user to block who you don't want to share your content with.
Let s say I don't want trans to see my profile, there should be a way to block this group of user. Kinda like other dating services with straight/gay public where you can choose to be viewed or not by both of the groups.
This is that simple, and should satisfy every groups of users.
I've never seen people calling some app with Gay/Straight population cohabiting separately called homophobic...and that s exactly what you are doing here.
So please, do us a favour. Stop acting like what you seems to be hating...a god damn 1960 fucktard reactionist.
You are the LGBT Karen. -

Also known as a squatter who moved in but to another teams app!
How did those bushes and stall work play out for you?..since you’re on here you answered that.
Many gay men, that which this app was founded for, moved away from bathroom-bush play because we supported this app.
Go ahead….say something else Neanderthal. We’re entertained of course.

I have de-leted my account and the app. (Hyphen required, or the automated filter removes the comment.)

Apparently the feature to filter gender and other pronouns is available in other countries but not the US. If you’re gonna add pronouns, add the filters. I’m not paying for a service that floods my limited view with women. I hate blocking profiles but I guess that’s what you have to do these days.
