Remove the age filter

Please remove the age filter. It's time to stop agism. Most people are lying about their age anyway. Let's remove it all together. Race filter was removed and rightly so. Time to remove the age filter. Remove the filter and remove the attribute from people's profiles. Attraction doesn't have an age. It's a fake construct.

    I am fine with keeping it dude but then let us filter out twinks, trans, str8s, and by race an other things. We are not allowed to because everyone is so sensitive.

    I see all sides....
    -why are we all so sensitive and to be honest everyone needs to work on their self esteem and learn they are not everyones cup of tea. Not everyone likes white guys or trans or cis men or hot older guys.
    -But yet blatent agism here is often outright rude with insensitive comments. We should be able to report this
    -I honestly spend half my time blocking twinks, trans, fake profiles, angry str8 guys who want trans, guys i am not attracted to and it woud be so much nicer to have a quicker block process or to filter them out

    Grindr- your options:

    1. Either we should be allowed to filter out trans/etc/race and age and not be so sensitive to everyones chidhood rejection issues.
    2. and/Or we should also be able to report blatently rude agism and you shoud take away the age filter like you have done for trans and race.

    Oh and Stevey (that sounds like a 15 yo name) Not all 18 yos are grossed out by older guys....and I think 18 yo guys are boring and unattractive myself so tell your friends to stop hitting me up.

    Attraction doesn't have an age but race is different. Someone could be 40 and appear in their 20's which would be fine. However with age, I've never met a white guy who appeared to be black or vise versa. I think if people will refuse to fuck a certain race then the filter saves them the time scrolling. It doesn't increase the odds of anyone getting chosen.

    @stevey the filter only prevents you from seeing their profiles not their other way around. If you don’t wanna see guys older than a certain age block then that’s what I do. Why are people so afraid to use the block button I just don’t understand that. I block my way to a better grindr.

    i’m sorry but that’s utter waffle like there are 60 year old men on there and i’m 18. i don’t want someone who’s 3 times my age showing up it’s weird. It’s like saying get rid of showing peoples height because “attraction shouldn’t be on height”. i’m gonna guess your older than most and no younger people are messaging you that’s why your saying this
