In Video calls, to prevent catfishing: an indicator for whether there's a face in the video stream.
The easiest way to make sure you're not getting catfished is to just do a video call.
Now some deceitful people cover their cams, or point the screen elsewhere so only their ear/cheek is visible.
Can we have a simple algorithm that checks for the existence of a face on either end before it lets the call connect?
Till the time he shows his face, he doesn't get the video stream going.
Of course there are many other refinements possible along the same lines.
