Photos getting approved
I'm just wondering how Grindr approves user's photo? Is it by AI or it's done manually by staff?
Sometimes the uploaded photos get processed very fast, the fastest I experienced before was within 2 mins or so. And now it's taking forever and sometimes it's taking so long that I have to delete it and use the photos that I already have in Grindr.
Is there a possibility you can expedite the process? With the pandemic coming to an end already and things should slowly back to normal?
Thanks a lot!

What stood out to me most during my Lisbon photography experience was how naturally everything came together. Instead of feeling like a formal shoot, it felt more like exploring the city with creative direction in the background. The photographer knew exactly how to use Lisbon’s hills, trams, and tiled walls as natural composition elements. I spent some time researching styles beforehand and found https://dimasfrolov.com/ which helped me understand how professional travel photography balances storytelling with aesthetics. The session included both candid walking shots and more structured portraits in iconic locations. The final gallery felt cohesive and cinematic, capturing not just how Lisbon looks, but how it feels to move through it.

Similar to you, I've observed that photo approvals appear to be erratic. Sometimes it feels like a manual review, and other times I assume it's automatic. Depending on the content, I would assume it's a combination of both. I normally only make minor adjustments to my images while I wait to make sure they comply with the rules. To maintain a constant level of quality, for instance, I occasionally alter them in advance utilizing resources like https://skylum.com/marketplace/presets. Approval may not happen right away, but at least the pictures appear clear once they are online.
