The cost of Grindr is much higher than other apps for example Scruff is around £60 for 1 year & you can do ten times more but it’s less popular in some countries. I’m paying £93 for Grindr Unlimited for 1 year (probably because I have had Unlimited from the day it was launched) but my friends are being asked to pay £209.99 for 1 year. Grindr Xtra or Unlimited doesn’t offer much to justify these subscription charges. Grindr server goes down pretty much every day. They need to introduce more features to justify their high prices

Weekly subscriptions would benefit users who may be traveling and don’t want to buy a monthly subscription price. It would also let people try XTRA/Unlimted for a brief time and then they would be able to decide if they want to purchase a longer subscription after all.

Give Unlimited users the ability to mute profiles based on the user’s list of muted words. A profile containing any of the words on the user’s muted word list is not seen and/or the user with the mute word(s) in their profile is not able to message you.

Really I can't believe that I can't even find this being asked for, never mind that it isn't a part of the app. already. Especially for the paid ie serious members, we need a filter to only see other paid members, or at least some way to see what someone's membership status is in their profile.

There are so many jerks on this app. who get their jollies making fake profiles, pretending to be interested, arranging dates or meetups and then standing up by blocking the suckers or trashing their free profile and making a new one, that it may as well be a tribe.

If we could identify who isn't paying, we'd weed out the vast majority of them. With a filter on incoming messages from unknown accounts, we'd also see an almost total elimination of spam ie the one-line "Do you want to fuck?" type. They just keep changing their URL and coming right back again with another free throwaway account.

⁉️ Question i paid 19.99 for what, i can't respond to half the profiles cuz it tells me to go unlimited wtf for so i can do absolutely nothing biggest waste of 19.99 ever this site if junk needs way to many improvements to many to list have to Yelp this site for sure half star if that....
