The cost of Grindr
I think you should do a reduction in your prices as they are absolutely outrageous!! I've always been happy with the basic one as I dont need to know if someones read my message or not, But, if your prices were lower more people would consider it. Why not try and and be the same prices as fellow apps, or just slightly at a higher rate.

I think the prices of this app is shocking. You need to lower your prices before I would even consider purchasing. Need to do more for ppl that are poz coz people need to realise U=U so if ya undetectable you can't pass anything on

Firstly why is it cheaper on Google Play (£25.99) for unlimited than it is on App Store (£34.99!).
And the price is just ridiculous. There aren’t enough features to even justify the price!

I am depressed because of this app because find someone to love or someone to there life is hard to find mean I have a lot of people on the like me but guess what I can see because everything on here cost away to much and you do get anytime on here to do anything so if you would start taken the prices because this is supposed to be a dating app not find someone to use for money

I'm tired of guys asking how much you want to pay, bring me food, send me airtime.
I'm willing to pay $5 or R100 per month to get rid of the SLUM. Please introduce a filter where you can block a race that you not keen for. -

Let's face it we live in an age that is being played from the ground up on how to present ourselves in public. But meanwhile, the back door good old boys network is hard at work attempting to capitalize on this new age of acceptance and respect. Not to mention the idea of going out to a bar or nightclub to meet other like-minded horny guys is just to much work and a possible detriment to one's employment. F that ,,,, the facts are if your neighborhood starts seeing gays buying up the surrounding homes the entire area goes up in value and fast. Every straight or so-called straight based on ones having a wife or husband and children is secretly thinking of bisexual or try sexual activities unilaterally well we all know men and women and trans get what they want when they want it and no one knows the real story other than the players. Let's just package it brand it sell it and call it a revamp of the classic NIGHT CLUB and add the device to devise engagement that Grindr and other social media apps and environments currently provide. In other words, a large enough venue that having your phone tablet, etc to engage in communication and big enough to provide a wide variety would be a great place to get lost in and with such a wide array of heterosexual reasons to attend would help blend in the INVISIBLE MAN types which we all really want. 100,000 square foot multi-level with a private room available throughout to host one's nitch,, the mountain room the skater room the geeks the jocks the I HAVE A GIRL OR WIFE crowd and basically bring the man behind the device to a centralized location so that there is a much better chance of the hot guy your chatting or texting with isn't some catfish cus if it is you will know pretty damd quick when they won't meet up in one of the rooms right,,, and this way we start to get the results most of Grindrs members are looking for and that is to get laid, in an out high and bye, non-binding wham bam thank you, man, in and out experience and not a colossal waste of time. That is what Grindr should be looking to invest their money in the future. REAL ESTATE and not this black hole of fake ass catfish or the typical 20-year-old who knows what he wants yet knows nothing at all. I was that 20-year-old and as fun, as it was boy if I only knew then what I know now I would have hung around far fewer older people and just pushed the envelope with my buddies, lol just kidding ,,, and that is where this idea would help the envelope-pushing from potentially hurting one's relationship because not everyone is ready when you are. Plus you throw in the talent search open microphone nights and we then get a Americas got talent and blast that new talent to the paying customer quicker and with a less contractual obligation. This way both promotor and entertainer can get what they want and that is profitable market share with more eyeballs to throw advertising at and the 15 min of fame Andy W promised us all. With any luck, such a venue would attract the young and the old so that the young will begin to learn some shit in life that in 30 years they can look back and say to themselves , boy that was fun to get out of the house or as it stands today to get out of the 9 square feet that encapsulate most of us while we are furiously banging away at our tiny little keyboards on our tiny little phones in our tiny little puppet worlds. Life is a balance of EXPERIENCE and FLAVORS one can not have either if one is only experiencing life within his or her 9 square feet and only venturing outside of it to engage in that JUST what I wanted when I wanted to hook up. That takes place in a 2 person situation. College is a lot like my idea but believe it or not, there are many or us who didn't or won't be going to college to spend their parents hard-earned money just so that their kids won't end up like the kids who didn't go to college and that's a bunch of bullshit parents should tell them the truth and that is college is really about focusing your skills to better position yourself in the future so that YOU are the one holding the knife that ultimately is going to be placed in someones back in order to get ahead. THAT IS PRECISELY WHAT I AM TRYING TO AVOID with this idea. HELPING each other doesn't mean aligning one's self with the WINNING CIRCLE of money managers who all work for the kid who most likely didn't fit in. I just think we should bring those kids in closer to the regular class so that we can all just get along and just that much closer to real genius and maybe that geek who always seems to get picked on won't get picked on and just that much closer to being a better team leader. Because nothing about building a half a billion-dollar private boat or taking me up to zero gravity at $200 k a pop appeals to me and everything about taking that 500 million and spending it on bridging that gap between us all sounds a lot more challenging. Bringing the garbage we create to a point where we can appreciate les

The price is absolutely ridiculous for both monthly-yearly premium accounts. Most overpriced service I've ever seen. Day pass works out even worse! You'd make so much more money if it was somewhat reasonable. It's nonsensical smh..

Grindr is a joke. They deleted the ethnicity filter even for paying customers. They literally take away basic functions at the same time they jack up the price. I subscribed for years until they did this. No more.

I pay a monthly fee of CHF 60.- and can only see 3 profiles a day. What a joke and rip off. The best is bother me all the time and you show advertisement that Grindre is free because of advertisements… It is NOT free…

I agree. And to be promoting $15 for a day pass as some big deal? I found it quite shocking and completely outrageous. I could see maybe like $15 at the most for a whole month, but I wouldn't pay any more than that for 30 days (I find that a bit high as well, but it makes a lot more sense than just raping us financially for a mere 24 hours of unlimited "perks"). If Comcast and all these other businesses can hook people up that are struggling, then you guys should be able to do the same. I can get internet service for a whole month cheaper than what you guys are offering for a 24 hour pass to unlimited game players, bullshitters, elitist snobs, narcissists, liars, tranny hookers, escorts, "massage therapists" and used up loose bottoms. On second thought, I would never pay any amount to use this app. It's hardly worth using the free version as it is.

Ridiculously expensive app for one with ridiculously frequent problems. Yet even if it functioned well, I would still not join because of the cost of membership.

I am loving the app and embracing all what it can offer, but to dive into its monthly or annually membership is horribly expensive. Can't afford sorry.

I think there should be additional filters and profile fields for the following, especially with how expensive the XTRA/Unlimited is. I think these would allow individuals to find others that have features they are or aren't looking for. Some individuals find tattoos attractive or are looking for individuals who are into 420. However, with the limit on characters, people can't put everything they are looking for in their profile, and this doesn't help when filtering.
Please consider adding the following:
Body Hair (Smooth, Shaved, Some Hair, Hairy, Very Hairy)
Separate Tribes into "Interested in" and "Tribe I Belong to"
This would help clear up confusion from people who list the Tribes they are into in their profiles rather than list the Tribes they belong to.Piercings: (Ears Pierced, Nose Pierced, Other Piercings, No Piercings)
Tattoos: (Tattoos, No Tattoos)
Alcohol use: (Never, Sober, Socially, Often)
Drug use: (Never, Sober, Socially, Often)
Marijuana use: (Never, Sober, Socially, Often)
Gender Identity and Ethnicity - I know these can be controversial due to potential exclusion but having those filters it makes it easier for individuals who are of a minority or certain gender identity to find others with similar ethnicities or genders.
Other filters/profile fields that others may suggest.

You’re being pretty stingy with non paying members especially considering you have ads too. Even ManHunt, which is awful otherwise, lets free users show interest by liking, and lets free users have at least some initiating emails a day. You are not enticing me to pay by holding ALL the cards until I do. I’m not paying until I know your system is efficient, and I won’t know that unless I can actually use it.
