You shouldn't have to pay for the services instead you should only pay to join the app and download it. The amount of men who use Grindr would still make it lots of money this way.
It should just be pay to join and that's it. If you delete account you just pay to rejoin

Let's Grindr lowering this cost when we got premium. At our country Philippines is too expensive to buy premium in grindr. Your team should aware of costing specially at lower income party like me. Did you know that 1 month subscription cost 649 pesos but other app costing much 300 pesos a month. Even unlimited cost 2,000 pesos a month? Really too expensive.

By lowering the price you’ll have far more consumers purchasing the upgraded features. The Features you charge for are also helpful to prevent fraud, harassment, and so much more. Please consider this. You’d be protecting your users from and potential law suits because let’s face it, one day someone will sue you over something.

I know that you need money to survive but it's getting so expensive year by year and it won't last much longer. Way too expensive for the services you provide. Don't forget to mention and the discrimination about photos and stats we ''obliged" to mention to have a proper profile!!!

Grindr use 2 types of membership free n a moderate priced membership, since it's been brought by a particular country... Number of bots has increased dramatically, all the closet cases can get the higher membership to hide themselves but still check everyone out! People who have membership ask for pics only to unsend their pictures. This app is absolutely garbage now

It's really annoying that each time I go to use grindr, I notice another feature has been locked unless you pay for it. You aren't making people interested in paying for it, Your making them interested in deleting the app and going elsewhere.

Scruff offers same features for HALF of what you charge for subscription!

it was $99 a year now $ 149 a year

unlimited was $29 a month now $ 65 a month
it was $229 a year now $349 a year 'yes its still all the same old stuff '

I don’t subscribe because I think price is extremely high, Grindr prefers to take money from sponsor than from free members. I will pay a 2.99 monthly, is fair price if you think about it. Hulu charge 5.00 with a paid subscription with adds, is booming There’s millions of members that want to pay yearly, like me. Try a 2.99 promotion yearly and see what happens.

If your subscription was cheaper, you would get more paying customers. At present it is far too high.

I would never make a subscription to either xtra or unlimited but I would pay a small fee for one off use of some xtra features. Like pay 1€ for 30 minutes of unlimited seen people or in order to send a message to someone from the explore functionality, make a search with filters ecc..
