The cost of Grindr
I think you should do a reduction in your prices as they are absolutely outrageous!! I've always been happy with the basic one as I dont need to know if someones read my message or not, But, if your prices were lower more people would consider it. Why not try and and be the same prices as fellow apps, or just slightly at a higher rate.

Really too expensive unlimited subscription. You get more people to subscribe if you make it half price of the existing price. Thanks in advanced

As long as people want to pay, prices will not fall. This platform should be fully accessible to all, and not divide people who can and cannot afford. Prices should be affordable for the entire cross-section of society, not just for those with a thicker wallet.

The paid options certainly are over the top for the extra features that are offered so they do need to be less expensive, particularly with how things are heading these days. More people are likely to be unable to afford such prices going forward.

Annoyed with money grabbing everything & overrunning it with intrusive ads & overpriced premium. Albums WAS great free yet now we are back to sending individuals. Seems like you guys don't care about the quality of experience on this app and it shows greed everywhere. You're providing no real extra value for your premium to be that expensive. It just makes the experience sub par compared to even newer platforms like Sniffies.com

I completely agree. One app I use isn't even an app, it's a desktop website with a mobile version available at no additional cost. They're quarterly subscription is only 16.95 for full use of all features. I used to think Scruff was a rip off and just recently stumbled upon a half priced quarterly subscription rate, but I"ve been nagging them for years about their Pro subscription rate.

Grindr App keeps crashing and it doesn’t let me to launch and open the App. It is not the first time and I have already reported a couple of times but did not receive solutions for the problem. I think to be able to find out a solution maybe Grindr should identify the problem first otherwise people keep loosing the chat history which might be an important issue for some of us. That’s why I stop paying the app as it won’t make any difference, because if Grindr charges around £13.99 then It should allow the subscriber to get the most of it. I have attached ScreenShoot so it will be easier to support what I’ve been trying to help explain.

A wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy high suscription only with scarce benefits.
When you pay:
- There are still annoying ads every day
- You have zero added protection
- Empty profiles can still view you at will, no discretion added.
- Profiles keep on being unverified, so plenty are fake or even AI's.
- Scammers thrive here because of the above
- Haters also trhive here because of the above
- Picture stealers also thrive here because of the above
- There is no "payers can only be viewed by payers" option.Or this is addressed, or I will not renew any suscription at all and look somewhere else for another app that cares about my safety, mostly after charging me $$$$$$.

I think, the boost option is too expensive too, thé first price was 5€, and now 10€
I think too that one hour is not enought for This price. Minimum 12 or 24h for This kind of boost -

Let me talk to other people for free, you fucking douchebags. The only reason your app is profitable is that it's the only one on offer.

Your XTR prices are ridiculous then there is the Unlimited prices. Then during the cost of living crisis you decided you INCREASE the price again. It was bad enough before. I always bout £17.99 for 3 months XTRA. I won’t be paying £34.99. Big big mistake. You’re gonna lose a lot of members. £34.99 is a lot for a glamourised app FULL of escorts - that you do nothing about. Your membership’s should of be lowered not increased.

The cost of the app subscription could be a bit more affordable after all the app/brand has become a staple in queer culture. with a more reasonably priced subscription plan the app will adhere to a larger audience resulting in increased subscription sales and possibly even surpassing current numbers. In other words lowering the subscription price could very well be beneficial to Grindr in the long run….

My suggestion is a single plan with all the features of the app, with a price accessible to everyone according to the reality of each country, courtesy of use for 30 days and being able to cancel at any time. For Brazil, I suggest the value of R$9.90, which is accessible to everyone. I'm sure that with a price accessible to all, the number of subscriptions would be practically 100%. I really want to be able to use all the features of the app. It would help me a lot in my search in the app, but paying more than R$ 30.00 per month on the Unlimited plan is very expensive for me and for most people too. What do you prefer? Much less than half of users with subscriptions at the price they currently charge, or practically 100% of users with subscriptions at a price that is affordable for everyone?
