There are often triggering words used against members of minority and in particular with my own experience when I am working and not able to respond immediately or I express not a match (another possible tap icon) or interest with individual to salvage ego or save face they have resorted to name calling/race bashing and other primitive behaviours. They then proceed to Block before you can respond.

These slang/acronyms/texts should result in automatic suspension of account for a week + and lead to permanent ban of 3 hate texts are ‘screened’

E.g.
chink, chingchong, ugly, covid, etc.

This will result in deterring ‘texts’ I’m demeaning and result in respectful and safe space and weed out racist people who get away

I just received a warning stating I need to be nice to people or I might be banned? That's fucking ridiculous. The only time I'm mean to anyone is when they're persistent and send unsolicited dick pics or hairy ass pics.

Do I block them? Sometimes. Do I report them? Rarely.

Look at the whole thing, before you get angry with Me. There is a reason I call someone an idiot. It's mostly asking the question "Are you fucking stupid?" This question is a simple yes or no answer, I'm not sure how they are offended by it. If said mutual participant in conversation answers yes, I will treat them as such. If they answer no, I dig deeper. Maybe English is their second language, or something like that? No, typically it's some jerkoff who sees my profile and is angry I'm not interested in their form.

So next time someone blocks or reports me, look at both fucking sides.

I totally agree. I was very close to reporting them to the media about this, on behalf of my close friend. It's just not on. Imagine getting banned after only being a member for a couple of weeks?! Grindr will just say you're banned and won't tell you why, or provide evidence of any wrong doing. That's just crap!!!

I believe that there should be an option to logout from Banned and suspended account. So that we don’t have to delete the app

Everything was going good for about an hour and I had a guy lined up to come over. Right as I was about to give him directions to my house, I got a pop up saying I was banned!

"Your account has been suspended for violating our Guidelines or Terms of Service."

I tried logging out and restarting the app, but kept getting the "BANNED" screen. I was so pissed, I needed to get laid that night and Grindr prevented that! I filed a support ticket and waited. I waited for days, then weeks.

Finally two weeks later "Sofia" reply stating that they banned me by mistake!

This needs to happen ASAP. Was banned for no reason last year without warning and my social circle was basically sliced in half. Atleast tell me what I did wrong🙁

I think grinder don't need to involve in comes of users problem to other user, reporting is just a banning but if you realize users can do legal action for harassment, threatening and what so ever, cause other good users involve in account banning even they are good people, but grinder can help only by saving conversation on grinder for a clear evidence

Stop making rules that would only apply if this were a childs website. This app is a waste of time. For so many reasons. The people in charge of this app must be the same bunch of Puritans that were among the ones to settle the United States after they massacre to everybody who lived here first they are so conservative.
The fact that you can't put a naked picture in your profile on a site called grinder it's the most ludicrous thing ever!

If you're going to give me a warning about harassing someone then I'd like to know what it is. Otherwise, to me, you're not even validating when someone reports an issue. Twice now in the last month you've warned me and I don't know what for. I'm tempted to speak to the FCC about this and your refusal to have the nudes removed from profiles after they have been reported. If you're going to be the judge, jury, and executioner it's all or nothing, not this gray area in between. You cant pick and choose who gets punished or has their pictures removed based on a whim or feeling, it's discriminatory. Further, the best thing you could do to prevent a lawsuit is to remove yourself from managing this on the app and hire an independent unbiased third party group to manage disciplinary and pornographic issues. If I get another warning without some due process rights, yes they exist even in Grindr world, explaining why, you better believe I'll be reaching out to my lawyer.

Kindly improve the grindr apps equal to facebook, instagram or blued apps. We are in the year 2022. Why Grindr still backward. Many ways can improve. Unable to search, many fake profile misuse our pictures and very fast got blocked by ppl. Account also got banned without any notifications or without informing the reason behind the banned

As a crossdresser, I am.constantly inundated with unwanted dick pics, or nasty asshole pics, or guys will initiate contact by being disrespectful, disgusting pigs, often insulting or even threatening me if I do not respond to their liking or if I explain why their behavior is offensive. I block them immediately, or ignore them and even if I report them I never receive a confirmation that action was taken. But I get repeatedly warned and/or banned because one of these men complain that I left them a rude reply. I am continually victimized by these people and have no way to respond. Grindr, at best will send me a pre-formatted, cookie cutter message saying how they work to provide a safe space for all, yet this behavior not only continues, it thrives. And when I receive a ban or warning, I am not even informed what exactly i did or when. I understand a member who files a complaint needs to be protected, but a specific reason needs to be given if I am being penalized. Of the complainer has not blocked me, and I have no idea who I apparently offended, I could unknowingly continue to speak to that person and get myself banned. And since grindr take almost no action against men who are technically breaking the law (whipping your dick out and showing it to unsuspecting people, continuously harrassing/humiliating insults/or just flat out threatening to rape me at gunpoint and blocking me before I cam report them) I should at least have the right to tell them their behavior is unwanted, unacceptable and I'm not going to put up with it.

I don't know what and who decides a violation, but usually it has nothing to do with Grindr. I think Grindr is caught in the middle between you and your enemies u built up on grindr.
