Give users a warning first before banning
Grindr should give users a warning first before banning
How would you like to be falsely accused of something you didn’t do
The police can easy do a background check on your phone and on Grindr banned account
We’re happy to say that we now have warnings for harassing, bullying, and discriminatory behavior.

That is bull shit now that I guess they have enough money from people like me and others more who paid the subscription and is not cheap I had been banned twice the first time I didn’t realized that I was banned because I noticed weeks after. The second one was when I was getting back from the USA and as soon I landed I open the app to see is it was happening and then I was chatting with this guy and then we exchanged pictures and meanwhileI was getting into the train to takes me home, while I got the ticket and run to catch the train and then when I was sitting and relax I try to see if I was meeting with the guy. And surprise I got banned and just few days after I paid my 6 months membership and I sent an email to get some reason the why I was banned and no response at all. And I sent like 3 emails and I just didn’t care about the reason why I was banned I figured out they I was not a model for the guy or for Grindr. And I just wanted my money back!! And nothing happen I got banned and they never returned the money

Until today I am still waiting for the reason of my said profile so I can at least to know how did I violate rules waiting for your reply thanks

I would like to suggest that before banning someone I hope that next time there should be a written or a warning so it will be fair for everyone. I know that followed the community guidelines and my profile is not a fake one too

Yes how would you feel if you paid for the premium membership twice 300$ for a year , someone entraps you by bringing up drugs in the conversation and instead
Of asking you anything about it after being reported by the person who has it out to get you they ban you without question twice I paid 600 in one year tried to escalate the complaint to a manager or somone who’s in control there , they didn’t care they blocked my email from contacting there company and I got no refund this was 3 months into each member ship paid.
Does it means that fake profiles will know when they are flagged? In case of suspicious account, there could be more verification to make sure the profile is real.
Furthermore, use some techniques to know if the images are used in multiple profiles... or to know if people are geosproofing...
Grindr is allowing the violation of California Penal Code 647 (b). Including that of exploitation of minors. They will ban your account for bringing it to their attention. There's an ongoing FBI Investigation into grindr. They have deployed nearly 30 officials on the platform and have already gather enough evidence to completely criminally charge and hold grindr liable for their lack of actions. Finally. Hypothetically speaking, a paper ran across my desk this morning.
Grindr is violating its own community guidelines. Unfortunately it has come to my attention that Grindr is violating it own community guidelines. You have a strict policy against Private Information oh like the following "prompting users to visit outside links, or any kind of spamming or scamming will get you banned." Or Promotion and Solicitation
"We appreciate a good side-hustle, and it’s cool to invite people to an event you’re going to, but don’t spam our users with links or use Grindr to advertise your business. Nobody’s here for that.
"Sexual or financial solicitation is unlawful and is completely prohibited." Grindr is for personal, non-commercial use only.
We prohibit using Grindr to conduct research, or to promote a business, club, event, contest, or organization. This includes unsolicited advertising, promotional materials or other solicitation material, bulk mailing of commercial advertising, chain mail, informational announcements, charity requests, and petitions for signatures, and surveying or requests to participate in surveys or studies.
We consider solicitation to include massage services, escort services, Only Fans links, cam shows, Venmo or PayPal links, sugar daddy/baby arrangements, Amazon or other wishlist links, or direct links or requests for donations. These are all prohibited.
Finally, we do not allow:
Images that are advertising items or services for sale, focusing mainly on a product logo or brand, featuring website addresses for a particular company.Images depicting or focused on cash, credit cards, etc."
But it seems like every time I report an account for violating your community guidelines you don't ban them, you allow those Advertisements to come back, onto your app every time I open the app they keep showing up so tell me isn't that a violation of your own community guidelines and yet you are ignoring this and you decide to ban an innocent victim of your community guidelines? That is not ok so why is it that you keep letting all these Spam profiles to be created and to continue to violating your community guidelines?
My advice to anyone on Grindr is get off Grindr. This is just a sleazy company preying on your sexual weakness's. Don't support them
Just got banned last night. I have followed rules, stayed kind to even those I don't want to interact with, and was building a friendship but now I can't continue that friendship. There was no warning for my ban, and my device is blocked so I can't even make a new account. Support is also very slow to get back to me after an initial email to prove its my email.
I hot banned as well, and I had to start a new account. Was too happy at all!
Grinder team should be fair with everyone and should investigate the issue.
I got banned, I did absolutely nothing wrong. As far as I know. Why would Grindr block you without getting the whole truth. The facts. There are more liars than honest people. I constantly delete my Grindr profile to always start a new one fresh with new chats. So I can’t say when I started my profile, and who remembers that anyways. If a person sign up for Grindr they should put “remember this day, you might need it” or something. I have all the proof I need. Should I bring this matter to court or something.

Well I'm happy to see that I'm not the only one that was banned and not been told why? It's absolutely something rude and nuts not to tell somebody why they're banned. It's like Craigslist you get flagged and then I'll tell you why they sell you to go read the rules I mean it's so stupid every time I post an ad somebody flags it and this is just as stupid banning somebody and not telling them it was probably an honest mistake. The only conclusion I came with is I was asking gay men if they needed a room which I was renting I have rooms that I rent and I thought that would help the gay community to put it there I don't think it's a business because they say you have to let them know if he's selling or something I don't know I wasn't selling anything renting a room. But I do enjoy squirt. Org they have came to cam which is nice and video chat rooms and I mean a lot of nice people there. I guess when you own Grindr and tinder and God knows what other sites it's not enough people to run your business efficiently. And why are women on the site I just read a comment that's supposed to be gay men and by men and sometimes I see women on there I know the transgender but they shouldn't be there. That's how I feel about other things too women trying to break into every male thing they want to be on the male baseball games baseball teams basketball teams I mean it's ridiculous they have their own teams females only but then they got to come in busting on the baseball teams and the football teams I don't understand why men cannot just have their own teams nothing to do that were better than you or not it's men like to be together like men and women like to be with women that's why they call it brunch who's lunch anyway that's another story but I'm glad to see a lot of people aggravated for the same reason I thought I was alone I did write it repeal and then they said I had to show proof in this and that I said you know it's ridiculous it's a website I have no documentation I don't even know why I was banned other than possibly renting rooms so anyway my rants done.
This has not started. Grindr did not give me a warning before banning me. I don’t even know why I got banned. This isn’t fair. I believe that I should be able to have my Grindr back.
I recently got banned because a black guy called me a ugly old man just cuz I said hi to him
I Said you are Agist , then he calls me a karen .I said that’s no different then me calling you a N er then he called me a racist
The next day I got banned . Grindr didn’t do anything about his hateful comment he gaslighted me . I said to Grindr in my appeal why would I try to get with a black guy if I was racist? And I sent them pics of my closet friends who just happen to be you guessed it Black . Grindr apologized to
Me and unbanned me. If they had asked me what happened first I wouldn’t of been banned . Some people are so rude . :(

Perhaps Grindr might discourage splenetic, biggoted and threatening, rants.
For example KapitalLetterKunt refers to transgender people as "confused morons, half witted abominatopns, twats, fuc*ing abominations, Satan, Devil etc". These ravings are reminiscent of "Mein Kampf".
Would writing similarly about Blacks, Jews, women etc., be tolerated? If a staight person referred to gay men in similar fashion they could be prosecuted.
It's depressing, not to mention ironic, to read such hatred from a homosexual, whose brethren, albeit unfairly, are dispised by billions. What's even more dispiriting is that Grindr seems ambivilent.
Excellent point Grindr. Outright banning without giving the alleged 'rulebreaker' an opportunity to explain their alleged actions is just plain stupid and bad service from your non existent customer services. Grindr app and customer services especially paid subscriptions us getting really bad not that it ever was good. You're going to start losing your main base soon if you carry on with this uncaring attitude. Bloody idiots!
I agree 282828% no communication, no explanation why you are banned! this should have been taken in consideration since the begging

Hells yes! They don’t look into any conversation thread(s) and more than half the time people falsely report misuse just to be an assclown.
