BRING BACK ETHNICITY FILTER. I paid for this filter and now I want it back.

You offered me this feature for $20 per month. I paid you $20. You refused to deliver this feature. You stole $20 from me.

Bring back ethnicity filter. Doesn’t make me a racist. I know what turns me on.

People have types, and that includes ethnic backgrounds. It is a major hassle and is quite annoying to scroll through hundreds of profiles that do nothing for us. The argument that the ethnic filter was racist would also establish the app itself as sexist. Please bring it back.

We have a right to our preferences/type. Stop stupid pandering and put the money we pay you to good use actually helping Black Lives, especially Black Trans Lives.

If this feature is not reinstalled I will NOT be renewing my Grindr Xtra and will start a social media movement through the Grindr Facebook community and other social media platforms to encourage people to boycott Grindr. This is the only way it will get Grindr’s attention. It’s becoming increasingly harder to find guys I’m attracted to with this completely unnecesary and ridiculous change. It might be time to move on to another app that listens to its Users.

I cancelled Grindr after many years as a member. Now I better understand why the Right has been dissing the move toward political correctness. Thanks Grindr for showing how insane PC can be, but don’t worry I won’t be voting for Trump.

It's ok to have age next to your name but if I want to search again guys as a white guy in racist. I don't prefer white guys. So i am forced to look at 100s of them. Well remove age next to the name. Stop fat shaking with weigh. If you don't like short people Yoh hate small.people. Remove what to or bottom its some.sort of BS TO Offend someone. As a matter of fact. How about you take away gender all together.

Just like age , height , weight, race should be a filter. You cannot help If you have a specific preference.

If the ethnicity preference caused such a problem for some people could it be replaced by a spoken language option?An option where people could list more than one. It would mean community groups could find each other again. English could be split into accents, dialects etc. Urban Music seems to generally mean black music, so perhaps an ‘urban English’ option.

Grindr should refrain from censoring its users preferences by omission. Imagine General motors stopped selling certain colors of cars for some absurd political reason.

Taking this away from us is just the developer of Grindr giving in to social justice BS. There is nothing racist about being attracted to certain races any more than it being wrong to be attracted to someone because they're muscular, or skinny, chubby, hairy, etc. It's the same as liking the look of some products over others. Personally, there are no races that I don't find attractive, but if given a choice, there are some that I would choose over others. I'm not racist because of this. I just know what looks I am attracted to. It's really that simple. When I see someone's profile that self righteously says something like "If you have a race preference don't talk to me", I just block them and move on. I don't have time for that crap. Unfortunately the gay community is full of racists, just like all of the others. There are also a lot of guys who are ageists, and guys who fetishize certain types of men. Grindr cannot fix that, so it's best not to try.

Bring ethnicity back as a selection to view. Other apps allow us to select ethnicity so this one should bring it back
