I started from myself. Just canceled my subscription and will not purchase this premium until they learn not to sell a product and give less than what they initially offered. Ethnic preferences (type) got nothing to do with racism. Grindr tried to get some credibility through this mockery of BLM and failed. I would suggest people to cancel and don’t make this dodgy business any stronger.

I agree with anonymous October 9th. Cancel memberships use other sites that’s the only way things will change, if people Hurt them where it counts, their pocket books! I will not purchase another membership until this is resolved and I should get a refund on the last one I had because that’s why I signed up was for filters so I can find that person I like. I originally made this request. I do not consider myself racist at all. I have seen people of different races on this app that I thought were attractive but if I find myself wanting to hookup with a black guy then I want to search black guys, sometimes it is latino, sometimes it is white. It is my choice and whether or not this app allows me that option, I will hookup with however I want to regardless of their skin color. For the record, I am paying for that option and since Grindr has taken it away, I feel that a discount is in order. My taste in men varies but that is of no concern to any of you who accuse me of being racist. Climb out of your Ivory Tower for one minute and understand that a person is not a racist because of their taste in men. I do not like white guys with long hair and I am white. y'all want to remove entire ethnic groups from your feeds. Does looking at people you dont find attractive hurt you in some way? Because if it doesnt physically damage you, you're racist.

Its racist to completely reject an ethnic group from your dating/****** pools. Regardless of if you see yourself as racist or not, completely rejecting all people from an ethnic group shows you have a bias against their skin tone or ethnicity, which is literally the definition of racism.

Now that the ethnicity filter is gone, all I can see is the one race that predominantly lives in my area. It’s not very diverse anymore and it’s very irritating. I paid for this feature and it sounds like pretty much everyone wants it back. sh***y move guys.. like beyond stupid.
