An error occurred while saving the comment D commentedThe ethnicity filter needs to return. You can't force discriminatory people to be non-discriminatory. Removing the filter only makes it harder for men to find each other by forcing them to scroll through a sea of men that are not going to have the same physical attributes. Different ethnicities have different physical features the same as age and body weight do. You also make it more likely for your users to have to contend with someone that is discriminatory. People like what they like. You may as well be consistent and remove "Age" and "Weight."

I believe we should have the choice to date or connect with who we want and certainly no one should assume one wants to date within "their own race or culture." Some of us never have and have no desire to do so. If you're looking for white guys in the US, you don't need the filter at all. If you are looking for anyone else to even begin to hopefully find that match at other levels, you need the filter. For those that use it with racist intentions, removing it doesn't change who they are.
