Thing you can’t say that being gay is a biological thing and then turn around and say being attracted to black man or whoever is not that unfit just because someone doesn’t prefer someone who is Asian for instance or whoever or Caucasian does it mean to race is it just means you’re biologically not attracted to them that goes in hand-in-hand with which gay people around the world believe in what is true that they don’t choose to be gay just like you don’t shoot we are chat with you so having the Ethnicity filter makes sense

I will say this just once and i hope that everyone including the law that no matter who you are or what you do every single person has paid for sex one way or the other, example going to the movies, dinner, trips, toys or just some cash we all pay so i would rather be upfront and honest about it and let them decide how they spend their money after all we all pay for someones time so enjoy it. As for racial issues it will only change when we all realize we are human and that we work together to protect humanity instead of hating each other, i prefer black men but im called racist 😔 . I disagree with one thing and that is removing or adding body parts that you were not designed to have and the body you were given is what you should still maintain, if changing was so simple i wouldnt be gay but its not a choice or my idea, i was born this way and if people want to ulter their body then either they dont like theirself and they misrepresent the truth of who they are by covering themselves up and its not okay , but again i would rather see peace among all humans rather than a battle that has been divided by a few greedy low life white men who controlled everything and i am white so that should tell you something

@dre, don't know how you came to that conclusion. It's your right to clear the cascade of people you don't want to see or are not interested in. I do this all the time and if that means I spend a bit of time doing admin I am happy with that. They became woke and thought we must all fit into the same camp. They added Trans which is some screwed up social experiment that breeds homophobia to its core members who in turn resent trans. Great idea!

They didnt remove it to be "woke" or to "bend to complaints" they removed it because if you spend more time looking on the app and blocking the hundreds of people you arent attracted to you're essentially handing them money. If you found the people you're attracted to faster you'll spend less time on the app. I just spend a couple minutes every day blocking the races and ages I'm not attracted to. Which makes me spend more time on the app not getting "some".

I guess Grindr app is becoming very sensitive and less useful.
90% of us would like to be able to choose the race and many would like to have the dick size instead of doing something about it they just ask u to post your idea which is already posted by many here with many votes. It’s 2022 u need to improve your app not make it worse

Barely any black people on in my neighborhood so even with the filter it wouldn't make much difference unless I was looking to travel. Buuut it would be nice for vacationing lol. Plus people from similar ethnical/racial backgrounds tend to have more in common so it only makes sense that a dating site would use this as a filter.

Loss of data: Nearby, Fresh, Viewers, Messages, Taps, Faves. Seems the App can't help but periodically keep destroying the data contained therein for no apparent reason, (back-ups not withstanding).

Connectivity: Periodically, swiping to refresh screens/tabs results in the Retry msg popping up over & over regardless of how many times you press Retry, it doesn't take.
It has a total zero effectiveness to restore any of the completely missing data from any of a # of tabs ranging from Nearby, Fresh, Viewers, Messages, Taps, Faves, as well as sending messeages.
Shutting down the app is insufficient as well. One must do any # of the following & hope data remains intact. Restart/Update/Uninstall App, or run updates for any of the following operating systems, Android/Samsung/PlayStore, etc., before the App returns to operating properly, with or without data being irretrievably wiped out, corrupted or needing to execute a Restore Back-up, or Data Download process.

Build a better mousetrap ... your systems have issues that need addressing. Thank you.

If someone does not want to list their ethnicity at all (not sure how making people guess is a better option...) then that's fine, but if that is the case then that person should not be allowed to see what ethnicity others are.
If you leave yours blank then you should get blank back.

You do you and I agree. This filter is not coming back, so people should just accept what they cannot change, delete the app or if unsubscribe and move on.
I don’t see the point in coming on a forum and bitching about it.

Maybe we should just change society so there is equality of outcome for all gays? That way, you should proportionately have sex with people in the same proportions as their race exists within society. That means that for every 10 sexual encounters, 6 should be white guys, 1.7 should be hispanic, 1.3 should be black and 0.5 should be asian. Would you be happy to proceed on this basis? And document the whole thing, make a TikTok video about how progressive and equal you are in your sexual attractions? Yes?

Exactly. It's a dating platform and I am not discriminating anybody by choosing my preference. If that was one choosing from a menu at a restaurant should also be forbidden. Also choosing body type have to disappear as it's discrimination, too. I am open for all cultures, colours and races. But the freedom to look for what I really want for a date has to be free.
