Have an option to where you can enable only those with face pics to send you a message. This would greatly benefit a lot of users.

Blank profiles, especially those with no effort in their profiles, should not be able to use Grindr the same as users with profile pictures, bios, stats etc.
Limit the features that they can use. For example, only 3 chats daily, no taps, no filters, can only interact with other blank profiles etc etc.

I have a full profile, clear face pic,several, and I hate that lurkers with no face pice, no profile can access my profile. I want to block all people with no clear face pic as well as block everyone with blank profiles. Why do they get access to the rest of us? #BlockLurkers

I understand Apple’s app guidelines are a living document and their updates permit more skin and body reveal, provided their genitalia are hidden, but there needs to be additional filters. Just like how there is a face pic only filter, can we have a clothed filter: where ass cheeks are not visible in their profile pic or a stuffed bulge speedo. Options are better than hedonistic pollution.

Being perved on by faceless profiles is unsettling and not something we should have to experience. Currently the blanks can remain invisible to users with face pictures, but not the other way around and that's not fair. Adding the suggested feature/filter would let face pic users engage with each other free from the harassment/spam/disappointment of faceless messages.

I think not. Privacy is an important choice. Even match.com has no such requirement.

I guess you don't believe in discreet. You can pay for grindr and get the option to see only profiles with face pics. This isn't really needed.

If people are on grinder in the first place, the only people on here are other people who are interested in the same things. I highly doubt people are going to go tell someone’s mother or spouse that they met them on a gay hook up app because then they would have to be missed that they were on that app as well. People need to stop being so paranoid. If you’re not willing to show a picture then you shouldn’t be using this app

some people are bi and dont want a public face pic. i am closet bi and what i do privately is not a neighbourhood gossip column, as there are still alot of negative attitude towards such!

Seriously, I’m sick of seeing blank profiles in my area. We should fully able to see facially who we’re speaking to and who’s around and wanna talk to us.

Please figure out a way to approve photos quicker, it’s been an hour and they’re still pending approval...

That would be a very bad idea. Some people, like me, cannot show their face in the public grid of profiles, it's too dangerous for them because they would face threats, discrimination, murder etc. in their community.

Please also force users to declare what they're looking for in terms of attraction. Age, body type, disposition....
