Please! I have this app to look for men. Guys who are looking for trans here are gay bashing and spreading homophobia and making this an unhealthy place for simply gay and bifolk.

we need a better way to filter out trans and trans seekers. it's nice that we're being inclusive and all, i can filter out most trans girls which is good, but there are still trans seekers on the grid and you can't filter them out. they don't have their own app (which would be more efficient for everyone if they did) but since we're sharing this service, could we make it a little more accommodating? then the trans seekers don't have to sift through all these men, and i don't waste my blocks hiding them from my grid. please??

THIS IS SO IMPORTANT. Tinder and Bumble are not trans-friendly, but being on Grindr you get men who fetishize trans girls and guys who are actually gay. Grindr should have an area that is more welcoming and appealing to straight people, men and women!

I believe the time has come to create a separate safe haven within Grindr for the trans community and those who are only seeking members of the trans community. They would be well served to have a safe space of their own within Grindr, without the rejections, judgments, and admonitions of disinterested and transphobic members. Please consider this suggestion.

I support trans rights. But I object to trans and gay being lumped together. This app is for MEN seeking MEN. Can we keep it that way? Create a dedicated app for mtf and another for ftm who are seeking fun or love. Thanks. PS, I’m aware this will be an unpopular opinion.

The whole point of being gay is not wanting to engage erotically with women. Having trans women in the app denies the the gender identity of the the trans women by considering her still “one of the guys”, and robs gay men of having a space of their own to express their sexuality without feeling shamed or excluded.
Trans also bring with them a culture of hyper polarized gender binary which leads ultimately to Objectification and Prostitution. I am gay because it is more cultured and evolved than the primitive male-female gender paradigm. It’s beautiful. And free. Trans folk bring with them a mysoginistic culture of high heels, escorts, and unrealistic ideals of beauty- reinforcing unhealthy attitudes towards women in society. Which I frankly as a gay man, want no part in.
