It is sooo annoying that the app clicks whenever you send a message not to mention that annoying sound when you receive a message. A complete disregard for people’s need to be discreet for obvious reasons .. wake up Grindr !!

Could be an XTRA or Unlimited feature, but a Discreet Notification Sound option would be great for those of us not wanting everyone to know we were on Grindr recently. Even the option to toggle between default iPhone/Android notification sounds or legacy Grindr note would be a desirable attribute.

Please bring back the old notification sound/tone

Being able to change that iconic notification sound to allow a more discreet experience for those who want discreet or those who would like to shout it from roof tops.

I wonder how many of grindr users like to be littel discreet and have the opportunity to change the notifications sounds. Could add this to everyone or for xtra/unlimited member.

Give users (especially paid users) option to choose notification sounds. Some users want to be discreet and don’t want an iconic notification to sound on their phone!

People already know this apps sound and its hard to go discreet anymore.

I would like to select the notification ring tone for Grindr as it's often embarrassing when it rings if I'm at work or around people.

Just a setting that lets you pick your notification sounds. They can be preloaded or a set of other options. For people who are DL or just embarrassed to be on a dating site changing the notification sound is awesome. I can't tell you how many times I've missed talking to someone because my notifications were off

Allow users to change sound of notification to allow discretion at times we need/want our ringer on. The sound is a bit much when having your ringer on. Sometimes I have to turn off my ringer and set to vibrate just so I don’t get notified of every Grindr message in a conversation

Agree wholeheartedly with this. There is the option to change the icon appearance (even though the choices are HIDEOUS) so why not the very identifiable alert tone.

On Android you can change the sounds for notifications. It would be nice to be able to do the same on iPhone.
