Why not, where else would she go to meet gay men. It does not have to be sexual to be friends. Maybe she is turned on by sex between men and may want to join. I am ok with that.

Filter would work

New filter needed to satisfy the diversity that currently exists on the app. Although a traditional app for gay men, Grindr developers have recently targeted all gender identities in their advertising, yet give us no way to choose which ones will appear on our grid. Don't lump us all on the same grid without our own gender preferences being considered.

Cis females are not capable of realizing the number of actually working apps with potential matches within 50 miles is limited to maybe 2, and grindr is by far the more common of the two.
Bi female who likes to play with bi males, have you stopped to consider that your anatomy makes being noticed by any interested male party far easier than a gay man or two bi men?
We already live in a society where two females making out or being together is viewed in a positive or arousing light. But two men? It’s still taboo and there are murders every year that support this.
Your entitled to go and do anything you want with whoever you want. Society has been reinvented just to make woman’s sexuality more widely acceptable.
Well it’s still widely more profitable too. When a bisexual man wants to be with a female he has those other places to got to.
Can you even imagine the outrage and media coverage if a bisexual male who likes bisexual females started crashing woman only sites and events?
We don’t have even a fair media portrayal of what we are. We barely have a single functioning app that’s always going to be for hook ups. We aren’t as accepted as we *should be* in public environments.
Let them use whatever reasons they want to like the ones below. They will never justify the cost and toll they take without any regard to who needs something they simply want.
If your married to a bi man and he wants to be with men maybe you should address your marriage and not invite yourself into a community that didn’t get a #metoo movement. Because yeah, we can say no too but usually that’s where things get much worse.
Two gay men from my graduating class have died from suicide within the last 5 years. 0 females. So be happy you have s voice. We have drag queens snd media making it easy to be a little homophobic

Using apps designed for straight people allows me to see men seeking men only. I paid for Grindr and cannot filter out women. It’s effectively like using a straight app, except I am forced to be in contact with women. I won’t renew.

Have a setting that only allows a specific gender, that with which you’d like to connect, to be able to contact you. In this manner women cannot contact gay men who only want to date other men. Etc.

Add a space for one's sexual orientation, right next to other characteristics such as gender identity and body type. Potentially include specific subsets such as "gay, attracted to masculinity" and "gay, attracted to males". Allow users to filter profiles based on sexual orientation.

Please allow us to filter by gender. As a gay man, I experience gender diversity every day. I come to Grindr to connect with other gay men. By allowing users to self-identify, you should also allow users to see the gender identity that they are most sexually attracted too. This is slowly becoming not worth the money. Thank you.

I am a bi female who loves to play with bi males & have an affiliation for anal play. Rarely do I find any on the 'standard'' sites that meet these credentials. I get msgs constantly & meets are frequent & quality. If females are on Grindr it's with purpose.

They need their own app.

If you are not going to prevent Cis females from joining them at least add a gender filter field for all users. I have already blocked over 20 females in the past week. My profile clearly says I like men. Can we not limit our searches to gay men?

Give the option to see only those of the gender that you are interested in.

Grindr’s write up on advertising the app states location based social dating app for gay, bi, trans and queer PEOPLE!! The app was originally launched for gay MEN in 2009. But it also says gay or bi. Plenty of FEMALES are BI which would include being TRANS. So it is a bit confusing for closed minded ppl. I do not mind if some females are on this app. Clearly half the men using Grindr are married and trying to be super discreet while swaying away from their WIFE. So it’s a bonus for those type of men to find couples.
