I don’t think deleting my messages in Grindr. If the other guy is worried about data space in his phone. A) get a phone that takes more memory. B) reformat your phone every time you run out space.

This is a great idea. Users will feel safer when photos will disappear after viewing. Also, it would be better the user will receive a notification if their photo has been screenshot.

Could do it with photos rather. Because of people stealing photos.

I am against this. Please do not try to make Grindr become that stupid Snapchat where people just keep collecting pictures, having a wank then disappear!

Introduce an option that allows us to send pics like the Snapchat mechanism. Users would be able to send a pic that the recipient can visualize for a limited amount of time without being able to screenshot it. That will help with all those “discreet” guys out there who instead of sending their pics just use fake ones or at least would give an easy way to check who you are really talking to.

Notify users if a screenshot was taken. Also include a larger watermark on uploaded photos, so if someone is trying to upload a photo that already has the watermark, then it's an indicator it was stolen and is trying to be passed off as their own. Require a profile picture be uploaded, even if it's not a face picture.

If u stop talking to someone or they flake on you any images sent to that person expires or we somehow can choose to make it expire for that person.
