Timed Photo Messages - disappear seconds after viewed
Once the other person views the photo it disappears from the conversation; only a one-time view.

Pics in the message section disappear, reappear. Loading a pic is slow, never turns up. Never was like this, what changed?

I think this is probably the stupidest idea. This is a social dating app, those who want to Tik Tok or Snapchat, just go to those apps. Why turn this one to another one of those silly apps? What will happen when the novelty wears off? Second, the way most people on this app use it is annoying enough what with their fake profile pictures, pictures of complete randomness and/or photos with their faces covered or out of focus and many many more as if they have something to hide or are ashamed of, introducing timed messages would only hamper user experience for those who are genuine & truthful in their approach to using Grindr.

Should be able to delete messages from within message search results. Each time I kindly let down someone I say the same thing. I’d like to be able to search that phrase and bulk delete.

Reading the comments for this suggestion is giving me a headache. Why in the **** do people feel like once someone sends them picture they should have it forever? You not the right owner of that content so it's okay if it goes away. What if someone accidentally sends a photo of their 5 yr old child's birthday party party should you have that forever too? I noticed that there must be a tons of idiots with self entitlement issues on this app.

If you don’t stand behind what you type don’t type it. Anything written should stay on record. Unless you lie a lot who cares.

If this option came into being...it should be an option for both parties...if one wants it to delete and the other wants it perminent....they both should be able to get what they want....I like keeping my messages so I can go back and review them later on....I know people who delete theirs as soon as they are read....

The problem with this is that it would be ineffective - snapchat has proven that much. Its possible to run a screen recorder on top of bluestacks to capture screenshots.

Err yes for your own message box but not for the other persons. My message box is my property and (legally) what you send me is my property and you have no right to destroy it any more than you have to break into my home to retrieve a letter you sent me.
