I’ve had fake dudes from scruff Facebook and tinder message me. It’s not a safety issue to me because I wouldn’t meet anyone without them texting me via wireless device and after talking 24-48 hours. If anyone is moaning it is the bottom or the guy who commented below joe jx-xyz in addition, no one with a fake account is going through all the research to find this (how can we improve your experience) so it gives one pause to your motives. I can tell 90% of the comments are from this same guy who says reports never get resolution and ends by saying act on it Grindr. It’s probably a woman trying to catch her husband. If Grindr has access to photo gallery and get traced back then what is your issue?

No. People who say yes to this, obviously are the ones who will get scammed all their life because they lack common sense. They have a learning curve best to coach them now before they get old.

So no we should not use our phone numbers as a verification this is not tinder, scruff if you like that go to that portal. Having a phone number won’t stop all the issues on here. Stop being a **** and sending your nudes and if you want this option you’re the one sending your nudes have some class. I don’t understand why ppl think a phone number is going to resolve the issue at hand. Heck they can say hey Zander let me borrow your phone for a second or mom dad brother sister phone number changes go phones google text list goes on.

Ever heard of a burner phone? Pre paid wireless is too easy to get and some people use their work phones too and or iPads. Find another way or tell the user to send you a pic doing something to verify who they are. No one wants you having their personal information. How about don’t meet them if you don’t trust them or get off your lazy butt and go meet people in real life.
