This is a big pain. Please implement this. If not I have to block a lot of people. But that’s not accurate either. Maybe timing wasn’t right or not. But if like to have a toggle to either see, only people I’ve chatted with or only see people I have never chatted with before.

Would like to see a filter for profiles I have never chatted with before.

This feature has already been implemented.

The app now provides the ability to mark and filter out people I've chatted with TODAY. But it's more useful if you can do that with people you've chatted with EVER so you don't have to go into a profile only to realize "oh we've talked before never mind" (a major waste of time).

I thought you could already see who you've chatted with in order of date...?

It's scary that everyone you speak with turns out to be so awful you never want to speak to them again.
Maybe you should try meeting people a different way. In the rest of life, having spoken to someone before makes you more likely to want to speak to them again.

I'd definitely prefer the filter to work the other way around.

Yes this is exactly what I want! The chat option to Mark Recently Chatted should work to mark the profiles if any message has been sent or received in the past, rather than just the past 24 hours. That is how I thought this feature would function based on the Grindr xtra ad, but was disappointed to see that was not the case.

Make it so you can see whether you’ve messaged someone before. It’s embarrassing to message someone and not know you’ve messaged them previously. It’s annoying for them and embarrassing for you.

Like the current feature which filters out people I’ve chatted with in the last day, I’d like to have more time periods. Like, filter out anyone I’ve chatted with in the last week, or month. Or show only people I’ve never chatted with.
