I was banned and for no reason. Never sold or bought ***. Never tryed drugs and never sold drugs. Been on grinder for years but had a break while I was in a relationship. Opened it 3 weeks after the break sent a hi emoji and 30 min later I was banned. Haven't sent any photos or written anything. But bering accused og violating their rules. Think this is sad because they have blocked my phone for making a new account. Miss having grinder and can't afford a new phone so I can have grinder.

Please unbaned my glinder acount i request u i will never violent any peoples in future.

I was banned for no reason ...what is going on?

Just got banned 2 days ago for no reason. Have been on Grindr since 2013 with the full paid version. They refused to give me a reason other than they have reviewed my account. I appeal twice, and went back and forth. It's just that I give them information like the operating system on my phone and other critical information. After two days of back-and-forth emails they sent me a final email saying I was banned for good. I think there's something else going on here. I see the dates of all of the other comments here, they're all around the time that Grindr send an update. I must say I've spent a lot of money on Grindr over the years, but I'll just move on to a better app.

Also got a permanent suspension because of someone reporting me. I am sure that was a person who got mad that I did not want to have any ****** relations with. I tried contacting their support center but they are just telling me my suspension will not be removed any time.

I was banned today for no reason. Dus nothing wrong meaby soms hater how reported me with lies. I dont get the reason why the banned me. No problem but I still see my profile online! Cant get in to delete my profile. I tryd to contact no reason at all! I dont want grindr to have a hold on my privicy and its againt the low. Last warning to let me in or remove my profile! OR i wil start a campian againt grindr for abuse of people privicy and there is planty of people like me who wil stand agiant this crimes. Delete my profile of i swaer i wil make u bleef dead i wil not stop til i bring u down! We live i a word of law that protects the privicy of costumers who dont give promision. U guys must be joke.

I got banned as well today with same stupid reply! they dont even tell you why! i keep asking and keep getting same robotic reply!!!! not even a warning and I still have no idea why they banned me! I got an answer from Grindr, they said that if I didn't want to be banned from their app, i had to be activelly a spammer on their App and be (or support at least) terrorism...
Well I am gay, and all people on that a also are gay like me: how can I do if I never used a gun or never throw a bomb on innocent people that just want to have hook up on that app like I did?!?
well If I need to be a terrorist to be able to use their app, I prefer to use a ***** in my *** and stay far from their guideline that clearly promote terrorisme and harrasment...

This is ridiculous. Has anyone figured out a work around?!

For all of you looking for other alternative apps, try Scruff. I got banned from Grindr as well but that was my secondary choice. Scruff is great and I’ve been using it for years. A bit classier than Grindr. I’m in California and I have connected with a lot of people.

I was banned today for no reason. I havent even used my account in months due to not having the time. Contacted support with no avail.

Crazy action from Grindr banning profiled without any actual reason. No evidence no proves and no warning, they just do because (who knows) customer service is the most useless part of it. You cannot talk, as it seems is a compute replying with pre written answers, it is beyond ridiculous.

I have done no wrong and they’ve banned my profile this should not happening at least without any warnings. Anyone can report you for any reasons even if they think you are stupid this is uncontrollable so Grindr should take reports in a different way. And actually prove both parties with evidence.

Also they block directly to your mobile IMIE address so no matter how many account you try to make they will be automatically banned. Ridiculous !!!!

I got banned too without any reasons I cannot explain what happened and now I am wondering if I will even get my account back. After all the money I’ve also spent on the subscription this isn’t really the best way to treat customers. Literately I cannot explain why I have got banned.

I got banned because a guy said I looked "Under 18" And I literally said I was 18, He was shouting about at me over the voice messages and he said he'd reported me. I blocked him of course but 10 minutes later a banned icon came up. I cant create any new accounts or even sign in with facebook. It's a joke.

They need to understand that gay people find it harder to communicate in the real world. If someone does something wrong, don't ban them, just remove the content. I understand if its severely bad but most of these things people do are minor, or just jokes.
