Same thing happened to me yesterday, ******* grindr u can’t even open a new account with a different email. It sucks

I was banned in my small town for no reason other then if you don't want to sleep with the in crowd or gay community here you get reported and banned I reached out to grinder several times with no response.

My account is banned from yesterday. And no reason. I don't think I broke any rules. I just refused to meet someone. The service reply like robot. Where is the freedom of information. I had the account 4 years. Anyone have experience to unbanned it?

I just got banned as well for no reason. Emailed support to ask why and they wouldn’t say why. Just that I violated some guidelines. I’m like. What did I do? I don’t recall doing anything but chatting. I think they should give a reason or give a warning of some sort of. We don’t know if we are breaking any rules. But it would be nice to know why.

Got banned for no reason. I changed my heading to " Selling Cookies" ( which is true because of the current pandemic) , Then boom, no warning and whatsoever and I've got banned. Totally ridiculous. And the reason that they've given me is this:

I just got banned as well! Completely out of the blue and for no real reason! This sucks because I had a lot of good conversations going on there.

Hey guys, so unfortunately I got banned on my device as well on 30.04.2020, There is no way u can use app on that device anymore. In this case you do need new device and email. And when it comes to finding out why you got banned just ask them, at first they just kept sending the same email to me i have breached community guidelines. I sent an email back mentioning MY FREEDOM OF INFORMATION AND THAT I GOT ANY RIGHTS TO FIND OUT ANY INFORMATION THEY ARE HOLDING ABOUT ME AND WHY I GOT BANNED. That worked as a charm. The same day They sent me the reason and also attached my profile pictures so i haven't lost anything . Hope this will help out you out guys. keep me posted

Is grindr banning your account or blocking your device? I was recently banned and i cant make a new account at all?

I just had the same issue!! Was just banned from Grindr for life. They asked for me phone and device info and then they cut me off after they had that info. There is something going on here for sure and there customer service is terrible!

I am shocked at the amount of people this has been happening too ... i had 3 separate Grindr accounts, 1 for "dating" and 2 for "fun" all three got banned, the only explanation i got was that I had violated some standards, which was quoted in the email, but no proof of any violation. When I told my roommate about the 3 possible violation he laughed, cause he knows I don't do any of those things. I am very confused by this. I have a feeling it was either someone i wouldn't hook up with, or one of the spam accounts who i liked to tease sometimes, and keep them busy. Regardless, i can say with the utmost confidence that i did nothing wrong, I have been using the app for well over 10 years, and have met many wonderfull people over those years. Grindr you need to fix this.

I would like to get unbanned because I didn’t do anything wrong and I want my account back for the first time the people were really talking to me my account got banished and every time I try to login it says that I’ve been banished I even tried to make a new account but it still saying the same thing. I just got banned from grindr, not for violating any of the terms (drugs, illegal activity, spamming) but likely because I didn't reciprocate feelings. I hadn't even used Grindr in the period leading up to my ban. When I contact Grindr to tell me why I got banned and to ask them to reverse it, I get form letters which state nothing except that I did this and they won't reverse the ban. That's garbage. Why would you protect the harasser and not the harassee? Do you require ANY PROOF to substantiate the terms of service violations that allegedly occur causing the ban? I've not lost friends I've made around the world - and yes - shame on me for not connecting in another more legitimate way but Grindr caused that without any recourse for those of us falsely accused. Thanks a lot Grindr. You sure know how to treat your 11 year customer like he matters.
