when grinder started that's how it was,Ive had grinder for 11 years now. Your account was linked to your number and it could only be activated with your number. No emails or anything. I don't know when or why they changed it. The amount of fake profiles is ridiculous. I pay $40 a month and the crap I have to put up with. It's a joke

To many fake profiles, not a trusted app to use now, to many underage people flouting the age verification very disturbing, ID must be present with an app such as Grindr if Grindr took responsibility

Veo que es un tema frecuente. Estaba usando la aplicación el otro día y de la nada, al actualizarla, me mostró el mensaje de inhabilitación. Mandé mensaje al equipo técnico, preguntando que había pasado y todo lo que hicieron fue contestarme con mensajes automáticas y vacías, diciendo que Grindr tenía el derecho de inhabilitar cuentas con o sin preaviso, con o sin motivo, y que simplemente no tenía derecho de reclamar y exigir alguna explicación. Intente crear otra cuenta, con otro mail, y en mismo memsaje. Es muy gracioso de hecho, pq en la plataforma lo que más hay es gente que viola algún tipo de norma, con actitudes ilegales y prácticas dudosas, que claramente pasan desapercibidas por el equipo. Hay un bando de estúpidos adentro y por detrás de la aplicación que hacen lo que quieren y que no se importan un choto por los usuarios.

This would not be an effective measure. Any pic that would be displayed on a person's screen can just be screen-shotted and saved anyway.

The only issue with this is that since Grindr allows people to put any kind of pic they want in their profile (not even of themselves) then people would all just put memes or any other miscellaneous pic up to bypass the restriction.

Es injusto el hecho de que la app no te de alguna justificación del porque inhabilitan tu cuenta, ya que muchos de los usuarios no infringimos en alguna pauta de la aplicación y además ni no toman en cuenta nuestros argumentos.

No entiendo porque me acaban de bloquear la cuenta si siempre la he utilizado sin problemas y pum de repente ya no puedo entrar, no importa las cuentas que me cree...
