Daily receiving SPAM messages. I report and block them immediately! After contact support about that problem, the answer was just report. I did not blocked some of those fake profiles, but sent copy of message as report SPAM. These profiles are still not blocked or deleted.
I pay for my profile and meanwhile I think, Grindr Support is fake as well!!!

This but also the fact that children are on the app and sleeping with old men, this app is for gay people I think it’s about time the makers of the app look out for young members of our community as this is setting them up to fail in life.

I know many people this has happened to and the all regret going on Grindr under the age of 18.

Please make a change to the app and help prevent horrible things happening to children on your app

The majority of gay teenagers under 18 go onto Grindr to learn about sex as gay sex isn’t taught in schools and they often can’t talk about these sexual feelings with friends or family because they don’t know how people will react.

These children end up loosing their virginity’s to older men often 40+ Sometimes it’s because the child lies about there age but also because pedophilia is more accepted in the gay community with older men not caring about how old the younger person is, this is probably because this is what happened to them when they were younger ( maybe not on Grindr but in general life)

This sets the underaged person up to think it’s normal to sleep around from a young age leading to unfortunate lifestyles making them more like to take drugs , get sexual transmitted infections, get raped and commit suicide.

This app is for gay people and the makers of this app should look out for the younger members of our community and not set them up to regret decisions they made as a child while chatting to horny old men on the app.

Please make age verification a thing and you will save so many lives.

Bots keep soliciting and able to make a profile right after you block them

So I admit , I did violate community guidelines in the past. But on my last profile I was able to make, I had all sorts of weird issues with the app. Let me back up here, I’ve been using grinder since nearly the launch of the app. Both while being a gay male all the way till now being a trans woman. You guys have always seem to have a problem with any picture I post that I like. Whether it be size and not able to crop it the way I want comment to you guys saying that I was offensive because I had a middle finger, copyright because I used a meme I found on Facebook, nudity Simply because I was wearing fishnets and short shorts. These issues didn’t really start occurring until after I transition. Fast forward to today, you guys blocked me and I did not get a reason like many others. But I had it only had this profile two days , in those two days any picture that I posted didn’t even show it was being moderate it on after about five minutes and I only use pictures that I used on a previous profile that you guys accepted. Although they were plenty of assholes, I bit my tongue in simply ignore them rather than give them my rate Or attack them. Didn’t even mention drugs this time as I didn’t even have a chance to. Coincidently on this account in particular I decided to subscribe and get “unlimited”. After spending $40 for the upgrade after only two days with barely any use of the app or it’s new features. I go and open the app in Bam I’m banned. Why is it that one time I made a profile with you guys and do everything right to my knowledge and paid you guys for the ultimate subscription that you only gave me two days of use if you call it that seeing as though you wouldn’t let me put any other picture up besides the one that was considered to be a meme and not of me. Subsequently this led to less people being interested in Maine as I was not able to upload a face picture to my profile, the same one that I used on the last account that you guys excepted no problem. I’m not asking for any resolution here as being an OG Grindr member I am fully aware that it’s a waste of time trying to get one from you guys and then I’m ass out on my money. I just kind of think it’s bullshit that you guys have more rules in stricter community guidelines and even Facebook , Instagram, or any other location-based meet up/dating app around. I’m not sure exactly what you guys are trying to do as a company. But one thing is for certain you are all focused on the wrong things here. This is an app for a grown adults, Yeah your community guidelines Do not reflect this whatsoever. I have to be standing next to a pool of water in order to post a picture with my legs showing to prove that I am only exposed because it’s what you do when you’re swimming. Can’t wear any fishnets even if I am wearing a skirt or bottom to cover the important bits because lingerie that I would wear daily with many of my outfits makes you uncomfortable from what I’m guessing. Banned here to for NO reason and no warning, they ban you by not only your email address but also IMEI. Contacting Customer service is a waste of time, after weeks of messaging them not a single reply. Given them 14 days to reply before i contact apple as this type of man is against Apple terms and conditions and is also illegal in the UK. Funny thing Grindr goes on about equality and service yet when it comes down to it there customer service is none existent, so much for supporting the fellow man when you treat him like sh*t

The account is banned without a reason, eventually, device is also banned. So the user is not able to access any of the grindr services, that definitely limit the users, it is happening with most of the people. I am guessing it is a bug, Grindr should fix it immediately. Without chatting to a single person, they are banning accounts, I am quite not understanding what is the strategy, in order to make the application popular Grindr should fix this issue ASAP by taking an high priority defect.
Even facebook/twitter/linkedIn/Google they don't do this kind of activity.

Due to this reason, I missed my buddy,I hope grindr will accept this request and will help customers/users.

Gay society is at risk due to the ease of access to Meth that is made on the grindr app. This has to be addressed, I know prematurely not allowing certain words stalled the issue. Is there instead of monitoring words but actual phrases. Seriously, how hard is it to block spam messages? I've been getting GayFun spam for YEARS. I have to go read the message, report spam and back out. And to add insult to injury, you show me an ad after I do so. Ridiculous.

I never had an account and tried to set one up on a new iOS device. I got through the setup screen, uploaded my photo and it shut down. I go to logon and it tells me that my account is banned. I reported the ban, was sent a ticket number & have sent four or five follow up emails, no reply. I’m sticking to Scruff!

Require all profiles to have descriptions of the user and a photo or name to distinguish one empty profile from another

Don’t let people who have no face photo be able to use the app. Make it your BRANDING that Grindr is homophobe free. Having all these options to describe “how you define yourself in the lgbtq+“ spectrum is just marketing from Grindr’s side. If you want change, set some rules.
