I just contacted Apple Privacy service to complain about the breach in the privacy policy as according to the data protection, Grindr can't access your IMEI account so the best solution is to complain to Apple about it. https://www.apple.com/es/privacy/contact/

I have sent over 7 messages trying to appeal the decision with no response. I bought a second hand iPhone and I found the unpleasant surprise that the phone was already banned from Grindr so I can't open the account in my new phone.

I think you will find Grindr does not read and respond to any appeals There lots of messages on other sites saying there is legal action being considered considered against Grindr for bans on accounts without a reason given when the block the IMEI of the device meaning that device can’t never be used on certain apps

I don’t understand why it takes so long for customer service to get back to you. I’ve sent messages on my ban appeal nearly everyday for 13 days now & still no one has got back to me. I’ve been banned & no reason given & to ban my phone as well. It’s totally wrong. Everyone should be told the actual reason & given a chance to explain or argue the decision. Combat abuse by banning the IP address when a profile gets blocked by more than 1 user. There's too much abuse going on in this app, it's actually frightening.

19 months on grindr

3 months into a 12 months xtra account and I got banned today for no reason I’ve tried to reach out but they won’t tell me why I’m banned

They won’t even refund the other 9 months membership I cannot now use. How can they take your money but then not allow you to use the service without giving a reason. That’s plain FRAUD

Block spam messages, I report them constantly

This is the company that constantly breaks the European laws by refusing to give refunds on subscription account after banning the user but refuses to inform people why they have been banned. In most cases the users has not broken any rules but this company seems to like to inflict controversy among the LGBT crowds

I have been banned as well... first I was frustrated but then I realized how cool is life without Grindr.
It is just the most time consuming app ever

After being made aware of several fake profiles created with my photos in multiple different locations I think that Grindr should implement a verification feature similar to what is used on Tinder - that you have to verify the photo before it goes live on to the profile - verification such as asking the user to do certain photos to prove this is you.

This I believe will help stop people being catfished as well as any potential legal consequences for people who are the victim of being catfished.

Get rid of the bots.....more bots than people my age or people. Real people.

It might be that they made a new profile? There’s 2 guys that constantly make new profiles and harass me on a monthly basis because I won’t meet them or send them nudes...

This is an understatement! If *I* can easily find a website url within the text field of a profile, then so can a company that paid over $600 MILLION for this GrindR app/website/database of users.

It is MORE THAN OBVIOUS these bots run by website script. It is beyond belief grindr continues to allow... Except if they are in cahoots with the stated adbot companies.

Get rid of taps! They’re incredibly annoying and when specifically stated not to people do it anyways! And when you call them out on it you get banned for harassment?? Performing unwanted activities listed in a profile could be deemed as harassment and you do nothing. It’s ridiculous and your app is incredibly poorly run and managed. Prostitutes everywhere and banning people for no reason. Just dumb

Be able to view all received pictures in one place, like a photo album. So you don't have to go through all different messages to find a specific photo.

It’s funny, I waited weeks for an ban appeal and they said they aren’t going to unban my account. They said I had drugs listed on my profile which is false and they didn’t explain to me. I was inactive and they just targeted my account like many others for no reason. There’s minors, pedophiles, tweakers and drug dealers on there but they want to target innocent accounts. This app is truly pitiful man, they need new reps that can actually do a job properly and efficiently

I though buying something meant you were anole to use it ? I’m not going to sit around and keep trying to reach someone.
