Grindr needs to block certain text in private messages, such as links. These spammers should not be able to send out the link "nsacock.com" 50 times a week to the same person from different accounts when it's being reported as spam. In addition to blocking their account, block the freaking text that they are sending repetitively. Of course, this would imply that these messages are indeed spam, and not a version of paid advertising through Grindr, of which I'm still not convinced.

Should place a remark on the profiles that are using this feature. Some "near profiles" aren't at the same time zone or even at the other side of the planet! Why nobody cares about fake profiles here?

When reporting SPAM to administrators the message in question/sender should automatically be blocked and the message deleted, as currently its an additional step so there is no real benefit to the user to report which takes approx the same amount of clicks to do as just deleting or blocking the user.

Can I please police Grindr site? I have had enough like many others of the fake profiles and more besides the escorts taking advantage of guys on grindr. Guys who have got mental health problems and are highly vulnerable! They say nothing by the grindr security team is done about it! So I offer my services for free. Please respond to acknowledge this when possible

Every chat I get that has a DOT ANYTHING it is spam. .com. .net. .sex. .whatever. it is all spam. Don't allow any message that has a DOT. It would stop spam period.

Squirt.org actively rewards users for reporting spam by giving them a 5 day pass to premium membership. I report spam there AND here as a matter of course ... better community ... better experience. I want an incentive to report spam on this site.

The daily offenders are NSAsex.net, Gayfuck.org, and Broromeo. I'm constantly reporting them as spam and nothing seems to be happening.

I know, right? This is really annoying. This is not a thing for paid users. Only unpaid users get shown an advertisement after reporting spam. Clearly The people behind this app have no interest in controlling spam because they would filter by specific URLs which are commonly used over and over. Instead, they use this as an opportunity to earn even more money when you get spammed. It's very sad.

I shouldn't be presented with adds when I report spam. You want to incentivise reporters - not deter them.

Anon users often ignore whatever I write in my bio about needing to see a face pic of the person approaching me and spam tap with the press of one button, yet it takes me like 4 or 5 presses to block them (and prevent further spam). This disparity is frustrating! It should be as easy for me to block profiles as it is for them to spam me.

Why application generated non stop fake accounts on younger people around 18-25 years ! Look my screenshots , this asian accounts is not from Bulgaria,but there are was visible 🤦 , use verification , let's stop spam and non stop generated new fake accounts !!! Use verification with selfie, id , drive passport or statement !!!

A) If 2 users report the same profile as spam, the account is automatically suspended (no further messaging).

B) The suspended account holder is notified and can request review after completing CATCHA to ensure they are human.

C) After review, if a user has erroneously/maliciously reported spam their reports are no longer accepted for a set period of time.

D) Feedback is provided to the reporter so they know action has been taken and their effort is appreciated
