Grindr, as well as the other apps needs to stop this garbage.

You get what you pay for on this app it seems there is NO filter setup to block ALL the new spam profiles that started popping “label my shaft.com” ALL spam and getting 5 to 10 a day and nothing is being done about it!!

Make your employees do their job and stop the spam. Scruff doesn’t have this problem with their paid for app.

I agree. I just caught another spam bot/catfisher but couldn’t report their profile

I don’t know why the spam accounts aren’t bring dealt with but it’s beyond annoying deleting 100 a day so I’m not re-upping my subscription until the problem is fixed

In my opinion you should only be able to create a profile if you have an actual picture of yourself. No1 reads a bio even if you say no pic no reply. Not to mention it's usually the faceless profiles that think it's ok to spread hate cuz they are hiding behind a black screen. The photos only option used to be free last spring then got removed. Earlier this year, my and ex-partner and I created two separate grindr profiles which we used for a brief period of time and occasionally accessed both profiles through the grindr app on my phone when needed (however my profile was the profile used most often on my phone). Over the summer grindr banned both profiles without any reason despite my numerous attempt to get answers from the support team and explain my case. Since then I have been unable to create a new profile on my phone or through my email account that is associated with my apple store account (which is extremely frustrating now that I am single). The staff at grindr are on an extreme power trip and it's complete bullshit.

There are plenty of apps for women to find men. This isn’t one.

As a free member I got 3 free expiring photos every 24hrs. After upgrading to Xtra it increased to 5 expiring photos which is kind of low. Would be nice to get 8-10 per day and if not used they accumulate in a "bank" for your future use rather than lose them after 24hrs

the same happened go me just last weekend. I went to open the app and go my surprise I had been banned. No reason no warning just banned. Something I tried reaching out to grindr for an explanation or some type of reason and they won't even talk to me and now won't even take my calls. Its just bunch of bs. Luckily I have another device that I have been using since and a friend let me use their number but can't create an account on my cell phone no more

If you're a premium subscriber they just want your money they don't give a shit about anything else I learned that the hard way they have no problem banning an account fucking you out of whatever is left of your subscription and not giving you an answer. I suggest you get used to it if you want to continue using the app. If I have a profile that gets banned I just create another bogus email address and open up a new one I can play their game if they want.

If Grindr is unable to address this issue then perhaps the user can filter out by certain keywords? These spam is about 50% of the guys and I block them but the next day new profiles are back.
