Please make some areas of profile descriptions compulsory, which means you gotta fill up some facts in order to build a profile or you won’t get any further to get a profile. Blank profiles are annoying sometimes.

I keep getting contacted by people claiming to be in the military. When I question them and they realize I am a veteran they block me and I'm unable to report them as a scammer.

They should have to provide a copy of their drivers license showing their age and a picture of them in the picture on the profile Should be the same person as the ID or driver’s license this would help with under age people

It is my belief that the chat bots and lures / fising scams on Grindr and som of the Apps less savory characters are accessing the app using VPN. I know for a fact that one individual in my area that has had his IP address blocked for promotring the RA*E of young men bosts that he is back using VPN and is proud that Grindr cant stop him.
Blocking VPN and introduction of e-mail or some other verification would reduce and possibly eliminate several types of nuisance user in one foul swoop

Why is Grindr hiding my suggestion? Is Grindr actually affiliated with the SPAMMERS?

Although there are users that are bots and spam, there are actual predators out there that will send you a phone number or Kik username and whatnot to get you to contact them outside of the app. A lot of times these fake users are not who they say they are.
I also understand there are users there that are discreet, but if Grindr could implement a safe/secure way to verify users it would help prevent younger users or anyone in that matter to prevent them from being a victim of fraud or whatever the fake profiles are trying to accomplish. -

“Grindr takes all reports seriously and our review team is always fighting spam.” Blah blah blah... but you do nothing about it! The SPAMMERS are using computers to make accounts and SPAM your customers. Ten active SPAM accounts on my feed, I report all ten. After other users report them they slowly get removered only for a new set to replace them. Reports do nothing. As long as Grindr allows open signups without any security features, we, your customers will be forever SPAMMED.
Sue the single company that is responsible for 90% of your SPAM issues and use their money to add a reCaptcha to the signin pages.

Users need a way for screening for lures which are fake profiles that chat for a minute and then ask you to follow them to other site. This could be solved if the users' length of time on sites were posted....e.g 'Member Since 2014. These lures /spam probably would be flagged.
