    Although there are users that are bots and spam, there are actual predators out there that will send you a phone number or Kik username and whatnot to get you to contact them outside of the app. A lot of times these fake users are not who they say they are.
    I also understand there are users there that are discreet, but if Grindr could implement a safe/secure way to verify users it would help prevent younger users or anyone in that matter to prevent them from being a victim of fraud or whatever the fake profiles are trying to accomplish.
