Have a way to report spam to you and have them blocked by the system. They keep sending random fake users with the same post printing other apps/sites.

Stop fake account by face verify, showing a face pic on profile or sending a pic in private should be verified .like most dating app to prevent fake people they ask you to take a picture of your self in a specific position .

I really think the only way we can rid of all fake and spam profiles (which is a menace to all social networking apps) is to have a 'photo ID' verified feature where the user posts a copy of their government issued ID to Grindr and then posts a selfie with the user holding a piece of paper with a unique alphanumeric code (provided by administration) and another face picture (Which will be the profile ID picture) to grindr adminstration of which they will keep on a secure server database and then add that 2nd selfie as a hidden profile ID picture on the individuals profile. This can then be 'unlocked' to another user if the profile user releases it. That verified user should get a 'green tick' next to their profile title to show that they have been verified.
Ideally this should be a requirement for all new and existing profiles.
However, this would cost Grindr administration quite a bit of money but if this really was voted on and implemented then this would not only give Grindr a 'USP' that would set them apart from the competition but will certainly be good for the online community as a whole.
I would certainly be prepared to pay a fair amount of money as a charge Grindr can take if it's done properly and really does remove all those fake and scam profiles out there - well at least 95% as nothing might be foolproof but this is as foolproof as you can get. -

You can already do this. The edit is in the upper right when the photos window is open

Make it so we have to send grindr a picture of a valid photo ID to verify you are the person in the picture. And when done, show a tick or "verified" on the profiles which have done so, in turn weening out the pic collectors, catfishes and bots that I know we are all sick of...
