Il y a de plus en plus de profils d’ escort et se gens qui vendent des services sexuels qui n’ont rien à faire sur l’application. Ils s’identifient par des mots ou emoticons du type 💎 . Que fait grindr pour limiter ces usages et la prostitution ?

The people reviewing photos in my town are straight up harassing people. It's really annoying, they share information with a bunch of trolls that photoshop photos of people, steal their photos and hack peoples devices. HR needs to get on top of this ASAP. They're approving profiles of people putting up photos making passive aggressive threats on people and making references of things that people are doing in private. Use a different app, its not safe on grindr,

Don’t ban people because they send nudes, everyone does that. Grindr is full of prostitutes with diamond on their profiles and full of drug dealers say ‘pharmacy’ on their profiles. They should be banned. Everyone send nudes, you banned me for that therefore you should ban all the other users too. Hypocrisy.

Lately the amount of drug trafficking I've noticed in my city is getting ridiculous. Seriously 1 out of every 5 profiles is either wanting to buy drugs, selling drugs or are promoting prostitution. I feel like everytime I report people nothing ever gets done about it. (Their profile will legitimately say "XANAX", "DONT MESSAGE ME IF YOU ARENT BUYING", "MY TIME ISN'T FREE. YOUR WALLET BETTER BE THICK".)
I think it would be a good Idea to have people filtering through profiles to check for things like this. Maybe even get law enforcement involved to bust these loser drug dealers.

I get hit up at least 15 times a day by some jerk posing as a military man in the Middle East. Grindr needs to stop this scam because it is gone on for months! It’s a crime to impersonate a military personnel. Grindr needs to press charges.

My feature request is to have something like Snapchat where live pictures sent directly from the camera to the app appear differently than pics sent that were saved on the senders device. This will stop people with fake profiles using pictures that are not them. I feel I am being stalked by someone using fake profiles I think my request would stop this. This would also use way less data than video chat

In several other apps you have to take a selfie with a particular expression or hand gesture for verification purposes. So that the team managing the app are able to verify that you are who you say you are...this photo is not publicly available, but cuts down on bots, fake profiles & scams.
If this isn't dealt with soon, I will not be renewing my membership & delete my Grindr account.
Last year (2018) I was a victim of financial impersonation & fraud which they traced back to someone on Grindr asking for my number after some friendly chat & then using my name & number to find out more about me & make fraudulent financial applications in my name.
It's not just a nuisance, it's a really big deal! This needs to be taken seriously.

Why does one moderator approve the lifting of my ban but others don't. No consistency. No warnings issued first so that reason for ban behavior can be corrected. Why do moderators refuse to divulge exact reason for ban? GRINDR needs new moderators who can do their jobs properly. They need to review their terms and conditions. Lost total faith in a once great app to use. Will seek other apps and will definately not recommend GRINDR to anyone.

Tired of fake ads. App is useless. I used to enjoy Grindr. I was a paying member and will not renew. I spend my day talking to fake people, wasting time "trading pictures". And I am fed up. Administrators take note, your going to lose a lot of people in a short time.

I like the idea of charging for an identity verification, then allowing a user to filter for verified profiles only.

If Grindr suddenly disabled all fake accounts, their user count would be cut in half easily — so I don’t hold out much hope they’ll make any real verification retroactive. What the could do, though, is two things: offer a separate one time identity verification service for a few bucks, then allow users to filter so they only see verified profiles. Making the verification robust, cheap, and effective to use would be a way for legit users to see only each other and push the junk/spam/whatever out of the way as if they weren’t even there.

I am anti-social media accounts, so I'd be unable to log in. Don't require linking to third part sites.

Please bring back the option to tap a profile photo and see it without the text and be able to zoom in/out. The way the app crops profile photos, sometimes it hard to see what guys look like. Sometimes the faces are completely cropped out in the default view.
