Have VERIFIED profiles,with a little checkmark in the corner of their profile. The same as we have to do when we get reported as “being underage” send a pic of us and our id and whatnot to show that they really are 18+ and that they are a real human! Or partner with a 3rd party (e.g. ID.me) or use 2 factor Authentication / facial recognition software. I’m 24 and if I have to keep submitting my stuff over and over again I’m gonna lose my mind! It also sucks that I have to EMAIL pictures I want to post on my profile because they ALL GET REJECTED cause “underage” or “sexually suggestive” when I have screenshots of hundreds of profiles with way worse photos (di*ks, ba*ls and drugs everywhere just flailing around)

Here is just a small sample of known fake account pictures

I run out of reports every day due to the sheer amount of lgbt *** offender ID scam accounts. They use the same pictures and profile text constantly. When approving new pictures the pictures should be checked against a list of known fake pictures and terminate the offending account without users having to report the accounts manually.

Same as netflix user should not be able to take snapshots within Grindr. This will improve the security in this app which is a big problem

I suggest that in linking other social media accounts (like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram) on Grindr profile, there should be a verification first because it is easy to link someone else's social media account by just providing the username.

In my experience, the poser who uses my pics can easily fool anyone because there are actually linked accounts that directs to my accounts. As a result, there are a lot of guys from Grindr who are messaging me on my accounts.

Please fix this because I believe this violates and invades my privacy.

Am I the only one that oftenly wants to download some photo from gallery? Photos made with camera of grinder are unavailable anywhere except grinder.

Make it impossible for computers, viruses, and robots from using and spamming people on Grindr.

Here south east asia the app has become a cheap store, can find all, from scorts, to drugs, to *** products, rent a room, ask for job, massage, personal trainer, clothes, all.
Also the general behaviour of most profiles is, to state discrimination sentences in main profile, race,.physical etc.
Some even tell you dont tap, just text amd to get reply you have to provide your pics first for him to decide, when they dont even have a full.pic on display.

For regular users as i was before, this was anoyying to the fullest. After opening the grid, almost all.profiles are bussines like and not talkative at all.
The decided to buy extra. Ok have access to many guys but still, bussines and toxic profiles are still there and growing in number, everyday. Also some other with this behaviour, you find that they are fake or simply never reply after you contact even following their demands.

So it all came to a point that no one talks. No.one says hi, conversations are limited to, hi , hi ur pic? , yours first please. Bye

I have compainwd about this invasion of bussines like profiles and others to erradicate this experience, and thenreply is always, suppor is doing all they can but they also need the cooperation form users.

Well, i dont mind to.cooperate, but once you reported 5 profiles, this is tired, and mostly when you see those.profiles.again a few hours later. Discouraging.

Why dont you guys use us, as moderators, reporting profiles for u , but this will be more effective, if we can also get something in return.
Lets say, we get tired and waste our time reporting so many people, which in the end is useless, so we give up.

Maybe not money but a free membership, to certain number of grindr extra members to report a number.of profiles daily/weekely/monthly, maybe if you offer us a free.membership if we.cooperate for.you, this will not be so discouraging at all, and we can use our free time to do some reports. Soon this app will be clean from this users.

Is an idea. I said free.membership as it could be other benefit, i know you guys are always trying new features, well maybe thise who.help you could be the ones allowed to use them first.

This is a huge problem IMO. I stopped using Grindr a while back. Few months later I get a password reset request in my email. I deleted my profile when I stopped using Grindr so I thought it was strange. Eventually I reset the password and logged in to find some guy's picture as my profile pic who i don't know. So basically someone can use your email address to start an account and you will never know because Grindr does not verify the email when you sign up. If this person then commits a crime, YOUR email is now linked to this. Emails are linked to individual people since you can't have 2 of the same email addresses. This is a serious problem and needs to be fixed. Email verification is internet 101. I can't believe they don't do this.

Help reduce the torrent of fake profiles out there by verifying new users using their phone number!!! It's not hard! Every other app out there has this baked in!

Having a system of email only registration is not working! We need something more!

Or does Grinder just not care?

To have better control of the pictures shared wpukd be nice to have a private album that can be share-unshare without the need to send it including the protection of screenshot
