Explain clearly what TAP is for as it is being used by self entitled individual here to demand for pics and please ensure the hate and harassment stops...it should never be an attitude here. Stop discrimination. Remove rotten apples in the basket right away so as not to affect other users. Spread love only.

Too many blanks spam tap and opening a notification to see nothing more than a silhouette is annoying, it's not a compliment. I really want this option to opt out of taps.

Get rid of taps. Almost every time I get a tap,it's from someone with a faceless profile that's no where n the grid. It's useless & unecessary. If someone is interested,they can just say hi.

I disagree. If you don’t like taps just ignore them and remove notification. I‘d rather send/receive taps than « hi » messages !

Provide a slider to allow/disallow taps from users. They’re pointless and annoying — not to mention mostly used by fake accounts.

Many people don’t like taps because they’re low-effort and intentionally used by some to annoy others. Please give users an option to prevent taps being sent to them

Whether the person is attractive or otherwise, 98.9% of the time I reliably delete and ignore anyone who sends Taps. The remaining 1.1%? is for someone I've previously communicated that may send a tap. I may or may not reply - usually not. 😆😆😆

2 years later and I still hate taps and I don’t want to see notifications for them ever. No sound, no red dot, no menu, NO TAPS. I don’t wanna talk to anyone who isn’t willing to even say something.

How about a funky little update to allow auto reject taps? Could be switched on or off via profile settings
