This would be useful for those of us who curate our feeds currently by blocking the profiles we find unattractive, because, now, our blocked list is dominated by those 'unattractive' profiles, making it difficult to sift through and find someone we want to unblock for more 'special' reasons, like an old friend or lover. Enabling us to hide the unattractive profiles instead of just blocking them will leave the block feature to be used for more serious reasons and de-clutter our blocked list. Thank you

why? if someone gives u the cold shoulder or ignores u over and over, why disrespect urself by leaving him the option of reaching out to u? if i see i've made 2 other attempts to contact someone and he cant show enough respect to acknowledge I a human took the time and energy to make an attempt to engage in chat or whatever it is, then i block him. I'm not trying to leave him the option of my energy or attention. LOL I'm no ones last choice HAHAHA. I also want to connect with confident guys willing to put words to his interest. I understand that Grindr makes a lot of money from escorts and that's the reason they REFUSE to block via IMEI & Device ID (zero other reason since Scruff and Hornet DO THAT) & email address.

Yes to this. Send out an e-mail upon registration that requires you to verify your e-mail. Also one account per e-mail. When Grindr bans someone, ban not just the e-mail, but the by the device ID otherwise what is the point? You wonder why it's the worst app out there with catfish, spam, and stalkers that can make a new profile in under a minute. Absolutely insane for an app in 2018.

They need to fix the block feature in general. As an Xtra member you get unlimited daily blocks, but if they have some kind of overall cap, they need to remove it, especially for paid members. I block a good dozen idiots a day and there should be no cap to that if they're unwilling to clean up and moderate their own app.

I pay for XTRA and I think it would be fair for us XTRA users, that there was an option "Search for other XTRA users ONLY". Catfishies and fakes often waste my time and most likely don't want to pay for XTRA. If someone's pretending to make good money and is sending holiday pictures from the Circuit party and doesn't want to pay for XTRA at least they could explain why not. Would be a great conversation starter! "Appear visible for other XTRA users ONLY" would be a great option too.

Yes. Right now I block people I'm not interested in so I dont have to keep sorting through the grid. Blocking seems harsh though. Lol. It would be nice to be able to hide them from just your view. (They can see you) and be able to toggle that filter on and off. If I'm looking to hookup, I only want to see who I'm interested in. But other times I'd like to be able to see everyone around me. Blocking should be able to be reserved for those who need blocked.

Coworkers around that can’t see you on Grindr? Family members? People not your type? Just like how you can delete multiple photos at once on your phone, there should be an option on being able to click multiple users and mass block them all at the same time. Efficient, easy, fast.

It would be easier to filter guys I would like to show in my square once I blocked all that's not my preference. It's time consuming to filter and block one by one. There should be like a a select all profile and block all option.

There are some profiles out there who get super salty when they get blocked, and make a cat fish account to get back at you. So it'd be nice if we could appear offline to them and pretend we've deleted the profile before blocking them after 10 days or so LOL

Also yeah there really are just some profiles who you'd want to avoid sometimes.

This would save me alot of time. Especially since i live on the border and have so many profiles who are fake or cant meet taking up my main screen. Plus blocking on your system takes foooorrreeeeevvvveeeerrr
